I actually thought of the chocolate-covered potato chip assist idea, though originally as a form concept for a theoretical fan rider based on this season. I'm actually satisfied they did something with that concept and hell, it's even better that it's just an improvised idea where both Hanto and Shouma do a mix n' match of form abilities to accomplish stuff like that. This show is just so full of clever creative moments and I'm so glad to be here for it.
I like how Hanto realized that he was in the wrong after hearing what Shoma had said regarding why he didn’t just defeat the Granute. It made him understand how dying for the mission would just add another victim. Also, I saw a theory on the episode discussion post on Reddit. Pretty much someone said that Shoma is the Hound Granute who attacked Hanto's mom. But there are clear flaws in the theory. Since Shoma was a child at the time and isnconfirmed to have lived his entire life in a mansion, having never been allowed to leave. And there is the fact that Suga knows quite a lot more than what he's telling Hanto.
I'm leaning towards hanto's mom living with shouma and his mom in the beginning, but then she became the first dark treat in front of shouma's mom's eyes. Which is the reason she condemned shouma from eating the treats
We saw in this and last episode a kid turn into a fully formed granute so I don’t think age is an issue, considering how shouma glitched he has some type of memory loss.

I’m trying to understand that I would have assumed that All the members of the Stomach Family would have some sort of similar motif-relation to their Granute forms, But apparently not as from what has been officialized that Dente is a Whale, Lango is a Goat, Glotta is a Squid, Nyelv is a Piranha, and Jeebh & Shita are both Wolves (albeit their monster forms make them look more cat/feline-like). - Makes me wonder what Shoma's Granute form motif would be; from my perspective taking into account his Rider Form has claws on his hand & feet & the "ear" protrusions on his head via his Main Form, I'd say a Bear (esp. considering his Gummies being his Base to make Shoma be more specific-themed with Gummy Bears)
That part with Shoma getting a sharp pain from seeing a picture of little Hanto and his mother…. Are they implying that Shoma was the Wolf Granute from 18 years ago? That’d be odd considering Shoma should’ve been a baby at the time. Although, maybe he was subject to experimentation earlier than he’d ever thought. Up until now, I had Kenzo pegged as the Wolf Granute since he would’ve been old enough to be around and active back then. But of course, that doesn’t necessarily indicate that Kenzo’s NOT a Granute or a half-human like Shoma. It’s kinda funny how, at this point, Kenzo of all people is the only (seemingly) human character who’s aware that Shoma’s a Granute. Though of course, there could be a very good reason why he has that knowledge. And it seems like he fully intends on keeping that a secret from Hanto at the time being. I think it’s all the better for the story if Shoma continues to keep his Granute half a secret for a while longer even from his closest friends. It could plant the seeds for a future plot line the writers are likely well-aware is too good to pass up: the introduction of an evil half-human, half-Granute character. Someone like Shoma with a similar background and tragic past but who’s let all the pain and mistreatment turn him… Bitter. Such a character would be a unique challenge to both Shoma and the full-blooded Granute Stomach Siblings while also serving as a “temptation” for Shoma on the prospect of fighting alongside someone whom he doesn’t have to hide his true self from. Elsewhere, the Twins’ storyline and development is interesting as well. You feel sad for them not wanting to be separated, but at the same time, they kinda brought it on themselves by hiding Shoma’s survival from their older siblings. They also continue to blame Shoma for everything that goes wrong in their lives. I’m loving this family drama and dysfunction brewing between the Stomach Siblings. And I want to see MORE of it from all of them! I want that dysfunctional family to collapse in on itself. Whether it’ll be from Nyelv continuing to prioritize his experiments over the family business, Grotta getting ambitious and wanting to take Rango’s spot as head of the family and Stomach Inc for herself, or Rango deciding he wants to be the sole ruler of Granute World and throwing the rest of his siblings away.

Like I said, I had thought it was Kenzo, who I believe is very likely half-Granute like Shoma. It was a sort of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment back in episode 8 when Hanto checked to see if Kenzo was a Granute, but it seems like Kenzo has a rectangular scar on his stomach where a Gavv would be. Shoma, being half-Granute, has a rectangular Red Gavv; and that’s the only thing that makes him, and by extension other Granute-human hybrids, stand out from normal humans. Kenzo being a rare hybrid like Shoma would explain his suspicious amount of knowledge on Granutes, and it would all but confirm that he knew what kind of Granute Shoma was the second he laid eyes on him. It may have also been foreshadowed a bit back in episode 3 when Kenzo got irritated with Hanto for interfering with him meeting Shoma, saying he “finally found one.”

This episode was everything I wanted and more man! Like it’s so nice seeing shouma and hanto being (mostly) honest with eachother! Also I got my team henshin so I’m happy :) Also the chocolate covered chips had me dying though I was getting sasord flashbacks when shouma looked at that photo and got a headache… putting that aside for later… this was such a good ep!!!! Also _the twins boutta crash tf out_ and judging by the previews they are going to look so freaking cool while doing it so I’m excited.
Theory!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shoma and Hanto are brothers 🤯 so so so so Hanto’s mom was taken then Shoma’s mom was taken from the Human world to the Granute world boom. Then that could also be connected to why Shoma had the “glitch” 6:35 hopefully that makes sense :D
My theory is Shoma might have some connection to the Granute that attacked Hanto's mom, since that one seemingly had a red gavv which otherwise has been made clear is exclusive to Shoma.

As far as the Stomach family's full monster form, I have a theory that's either going to be proven or disproven next episode. If the Gochizo are Shouma's version of Minions, then wouldn't the reverse also be true? What if ~eating their own minions~ is what triggers the transformation into full monster form?

I have a sadder theory with Hanto's mom instead of the brother theory, what if... Shouma saw her one time in his memories because he ate a Dark Treat made of her when he was a child, remember the Dark Treats are made of human happiness and that maybe includes happy memories, and even maybe that was a traumatic event for him and thats one of the reason why his mom told him never eat them My other theory is when the gruncle modify him, part of the process was fused him with something from another Granute who turn to be the kidnapper and he just had a 2nd person flashback from him I know these sounds like smoke, but at this point anything could happen, and i personally prefer something like these instead of the obvious half brother situation

Prediction time: I think Kenzo and Dente are working together, and that's how he gained the knowledge of how to modify Hanto. In fact, he may have been the first Granute he met and the one who sparked his interest in the whole Granute world. This is just an out there theory, but I could see it being somewhat true.
Chashiro and Taiya last week, Shoma and Hanto this week, we feast for sure ☺️. Let just hope that their is a slight connection and not a blood related connection between Shoma and Hanto, because of Shoma's reaction to the picture of Hanto's mom. It would ve way to easy.
Several things I have taken after watching this episode. 1. Shouma's glitch to the mom pic of Hanto's. Given their past trauma I wonder if there's a chance they are half brothers in some way, due to Gavv being so far a love letter of past Kamen Rider series. 2. The twins and stomach family INC. as a whole have nobody but themselves to blame for their downfall in the form of the Red Gavv aka Shouma. They are poisoning their own people & ruining the lives of two worlds all for the pursuit of money which, is the root of all evil. 3. Valen's new donut form seems to focus heavily on defense while providing some offense capabilities due to the chocolate part of his powers which, in turn also doubles his defensive powers even further from impact attacks. I would put it as 30x or 40x booster.
thEoRy tiMe: since the drawing the reporter did as a kid showed the wolf(?) granute with a red gavv, and shouma’s rider form has the same like clawed feet plus his like almost feral/animalistic starting pose, it could be a thing of either when he first got his gavv installed and went nutso, oR the surgery shouma had wasn’t actually installing the gavv but like hindering it. Im thinking that the other red gav that was on the wolf granute isn't a new Granute but possibly Shoma when he was born and his gav was developing originally and was uncontrollable in that state thus the needs for modifications or it was one of the first experiments of the red gav tech I guess. The first Granute to see the red gavv is surprised by it so its either rare has hell to see or its something that only the stomach family knows about.
I think it's Shouma's father. I still think Shouma and Hanto are brothers, that Hanto's mother was taken by Shouma's father but he fell in love with her and had Shouma. I do wonder if Shouma's mother was in love with and had sex with Shouma's father before knowing he was a Granute. Because I don't see him raping her, not if he loved her (in his own way.) Plus I think there is more to why he was keeping Shouma and his Mother trapped there besides his Granute brothers and sisters hating them. I do hope the twins turn good! Yes Hanto checked his stomach but what if the scientist (Shouma's brother) invented a way to hide the stomach on certain granutes. I think both scientists have been planning the whole situation with Hanto since he was a kid. That makes me even more think he is Shouma's brother. They couldn't get to Shouma or his mother so they chose to make Hanto suffer.

I'm going to make a prediction here: Since we tend to almost always have a "Evil" transformation for our local good boy riders I bet that Shoma will at some point eat a Dark Treat. They are candy thus meeting the requirement he has to form minions and would make for a great story telling moment.
I'm going to guess that because Shouma's mom didn't really tell Shouma why he couldn't eat Dark Treats other than: "Because I said so", he ate a dark treat without knowing the consequences... ...Maybe it turned him into the monster that took Hanto's mom.

So I will act as those commentaries you mention don't exist 😂 I also don't think Shoma is the Wolf that ate Hanto's Mum, it looked too Adult-Like when Shoma is barley like 2 or 3 years younger than Hanto, and Hanto looked like a child closer to maybe 8 when that happened. So I don't think they are Brothers either. I think the Glitch has to do more about maybe Shoma actually seeing or meeting Hanto's Mum when he was little and they brought her to Granute World. As we know the Compress Technology is kinda new, maybe Hanto's mum was use for a Prototype or Experimental version of the Compress and Shoma witnessed it, but being so little the Trauma made him repress the memory or something, so looking at her Triggered him. This episode was everything I wanted and more man! Like it’s so nice seeing shouma and hanto being (mostly) honest with eachother! Also I got my team henshin so I’m happy :)

Theory!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shoma and Hanto are brothers 🤯 so so so so Hanto’s mom was taken then Shoma’s mom was taken from the Human world to the Granute world boom. Then that could also be connected to why Shoma had the “glitch” 6:35 hopefully that makes sense :D

My theory is Shoma might have some connection to the Granute that attacked Hanto's mom, since that one seemingly had a red gavv which otherwise has been made clear is exclusive to Shoma.

I feel they may be related. There was another person in that picture Hanto showed I thought it was another woman. So possibly it could be cousins. Either that or genetic memories or real memories

If the Gochizo are Shouma's version of Minions, then wouldn't the reverse also be true? What if ~eating their own minions~ is what triggers the transformation into full monster form?

I have a sadder theory with Hanto's mom instead of the brother theory, what if... Shouma saw her one time in his memories because he ate a Dark Treat made of her when he was a child, remember the Dark Treats are made of human happiness and that maybe includes happy memories, and even maybe that was a traumatic event for him and thats one of the reason why his mom told him never eat them
My other theory is when the gruncle modify him, part of the process was fused him with something from another Granute who turn to be the kidnapper and he just had a 2nd person flashback from him
I know these sounds like smoke, but at this point anything could happen, and i personally prefer something like these instead of the obvious half brother situation

They could pull a Dandadan with the tertiary. Like the power comes from Kiramai Silver Granute but then that power is given to Sachika for reasons. I mean jellyfish dude isn’t indoctrinated to Stomach Inc, he’s not passionate about the work, he could totally just bond with a human.
Prediction time: I think Kenzo and Dente are working together, and that's how he gained the knowledge of how to modify Hanto. In fact, he may have been the first Granute he met and the one who sparked his interest in the whole Granute world. This is just an out there theory, but I could see it being somewhat true.
Chashiro and Taiya last week, Shoma and Hanto this week, we feast for sure ☺️.
Let just hope that their is a slight connection and not a blood related connection between Shoma and Hanto, because of Shoma's reaction to the picture of Hanto's mom. It would ve way to easy.

Several things I have taken after watching this episode.
1. Shouma's glitch to the mom pic of Hanto's. Given their past trauma I wonder if there's a chance they are half brothers in some way, due to Gavv being so far a love letter of past Kamen Rider series.
2. The twins and stomach family INC. as a whole have nobody but themselves to blame for their downfall in the form of the Red Gavv aka Shouma. They are poisoning their own people & ruining the lives of two worlds all for the pursuit of money which, is the root of all evil.
3. Valen's new donut form seems to focus heavily on defense while providing some offense capabilities due to the chocolate part of his powers which, in turn also doubles his defensive powers even further from impact attacks. I would put it as 30x or 40x booster.
thEoRy tiMe: since the drawing the reporter did as a kid showed the wolf(?) granute with a red gavv, and shouma’s rider form has the same like clawed feet plus his like almost feral/animalistic starting pose, it could be a thing of either when he first got his gavv installed and went nutso, oR the surgery shouma had wasn’t actually installing the gavv but like hindering it. Could be why there hasn’t been much mention of the stomach family’s father yet, cuz of his involvement in it all. But thAts jUst a thEoRy, a riDeR tHeOrY

Im thinking that the other red gav that was on the wolf granute isn't a new Granute but possibly Shoma when he was born and his gav was developing originally and was uncontrollable in that state thus the needs for modifications or it was one of the first experiments of the red gav tech I guess. The first Granute to see the red gavv is surprised by it so its either rare has hell to see or its something that only the stomach family knows about.

I do hope the twins turn good! I can see them realizing their oldest brother and sister are the true villains and they accept Shouma. Befriend Hanto and Sachika. Maybe even become Kamen Riders!

The Granute that took Hanto's mother is the scientist that did the surgery on Hanto. Yes Hanto checked his stomach but what if the scientist (Shouma's brother) invented a way to hide the stomach on certain granutes.
I think both scientists have been planning the whole situation with Hanto since he was a kid. That makes me even more think he is Shouma's brother. They couldn't get to Shouma or his mother so they chose to make Hanto suffer.

I'm going to make a prediction here: Since we tend to almost always have a "Evil" transformation for our local good boy riders I bet that Shoma will at some point eat a Dark Treat. They are candy thus meeting the requirement he has to form minions and would make for a great story telling moment.
I'm going to guess that because Shouma's mom didn't really tell Shouma why he couldn't eat Dark Treats other than: "Because I said so", he ate a dark treat without knowing the consequences...
...Maybe it turned him into the monster that took Hanto's mom.

It's intresting to like maybe the glitch shoma had is a memory where he is the one who attack hanto's mom. so in the flassh back itshows a wolf like form with a red gavv attaked the mom, we still don't know shoma's granute form but if he is the youngest then next the twins it might have been posible that the three of them has a wolf/ dog looking forms. Plus base on the preview for the next episode the full forms of the twins look similarly close to the one that attck hanto's mom but instead of one of the twins it's shoma in beserk or full granute form. In a way Want I want or the conflict that I want to happen between shoma and hantyo could's still happen. 1 him finding out the whole truth that shoma i a granute and that he trusted him and shit next add to the fire of that is him learning that maybe shoma is the same granute that attacked his mom but shoma din't know at the time or has no memory of it maybe becaused of the glitch thing.

I have a theory guys: So the true from of the twins are werewolves right? So what if shoma’s father true form was also the werewolf that “killed” Hanto’s mother. I also don't think Shoma is the Wolf that ate Hanto's Mum, it looked too Adult-Like when Shoma is barley like 2 or 3 years younger than Hanto, and Hanto looked like a child closer to maybe 8 when that happened. So I don't think they are Brothers either.
I think the Glitch has to do more about maybe Shoma actually seeing or meeting Hanto's Mum when he was little and they brought her to Granute World. As we know the Compress Technology is kinda new, maybe Hanto's mum was use for a Prototype or Experimental version of the Compress and Shoma witnessed it, but being so little the Trauma made him repress the memory or something, so looking at her Triggered him.
Or Maybe it even has to do with the Mum telling Shoma to Not Eat the Treats, as maybe he Actually Tried one once and it was the one with Hanto's Mum and due to his Half/Half Physiology it had a different Effect on him... Who knows...
The only thing certain is that obviousley the Wolf Granute has to have something to do with the Stomach Family since the Twins are Wolf Theme. And since Lango looks just like his dad, my possible idea is that the Wolf that took Hanto's Mum, was Mama-Stomach She hasn't been mentioned a single time, we know nothing about her, so maybe the Siblings Hatred towards Shoma and his Mum is not just for being Human, but a living prove of their father replacing their mother.
Then, I can't help but keep thinking about the scene with Lango talking with Glotta and how he emphazised on Shoma becoming Stronger Physically, but Not Metally?? And how it was in the same scene that he asked Glotta to be the one to Choose the new Part-Timers?? Am I the only one who feels that was not just because?? It feels like Lango already has made a Big Plan we can't comprehend yet, just by watching Shoma fight.... Or Am I overthinking?
