Awwh! Thanks so much! We hope to get across our experiences seeing these places. And to show the more unusual places - away from the famous and popular destinations. We want to spend our money and encourage tourism in the smaller places and not contribute to overcrowding in the popular places.
Bella Sicilia. Spent a week there in 2015, stayed in Palermo, Agrigento (Greek Temples), Taormina & Siracuse (birthplace of Archimides). I was enthralled by the Byzantine mosaics in the churches. Christian & Moslem artisans produced exquisite designs in the Palatine Chapel & Cathedral of Monreale.
Haha. Was talking with my Mum last night and she mentioned the same thing. We are pretty good and putting the sunscrean on, Jude better than me, but it is something that we will need to really get into our routine first thing in the morning.

Sounds like you had a great time. Sicily has so much to see but doesn't get the foreign tourists like other areas of Italy.
