I really enjoyed this review. I don’t trust ANY reviews from channels that have 500k subscribers because they’ve all received their products from manufacturers at no charge. How can you be biased when you get something for free? Good job.

Finally someone who knows how to snow blow a driveway by starting in the middle. No need to change, the chute direction 1000 times.

My only real concern with these cordless blowers and mowers is how many seasons is a battery going to last, the replacement cost, and will replacement batteries be available a few years down the road. I've run into that problem with some small cordless tools where I've had to toss a perfectly good tool only because the manufacturer stopped making the batteries and brought out a new model with a different design.

EGO warranties theirs for at least 3 years but as long as you keep them indoors they should last at least half a decade or longer. Lithium-Ion has been around long enough that it's a mature technology.

toro is a trusted brand that offers many battery options and they aren't going out of business anytime soon, there are also off brand batteries that can be compatible, battery life depends on weather its kept in extreme heat or cold (best to keep it indoors and not in the garage), and charge cycles (how many times you've charged it) with every 100 or so charge cycles the battery life will go down just a touch and it also helps if you charge the batteries fully without overcharging, and lastly that you store them indoors at half to full charge during the offseason....eventually every battery will either give out completely or go down to less than 50% of its original efficiency but if taken care of properly they can last 5-10 years before replacement is needed....and can still serve as a backup battery even after a decade .... its a fair trade since gas powered snow blowers need yearly maintenance

Good review, with an objective description of snow conditions, effort required. Also good technique used - starting in the middle! I also take wind direction into account. Nice car pic on the wall behind you, I also have an older Miata, as a summer driver!

I have the Greenworks Pro 60v snowblower from Lowes and it was stalling and getting jammed constantly in some mixed snow here in Michigan. I bought the Toro 60v on that very same day and it chews straight through snow that the Greenworks stalled on every time. The Toro was also able to handle the frozen chunks that the city plow guy shoved in the end of my driveway too, but that took more work and it will stall on that once in awhile. Is it worth $650? For me, I think it is because my wife also needs to be able to operate this so that was a very important factor in my decision. To put it directly, I don't know if there is an electric snowblower that is this easy to handle that can perform as well as this does.

Same here I have the greenworks 60v and it would stop every minute or so. Plus, at the end of the driveway stuff it stopped every single push.

@@timl.6984 Hi Tim! I have another update haha. I ended up bending the auger on the Toro when I tried to clear some plowed-in ice/snow at the end of my driveway. It cost me $278 to have it repaired out of warranty because I hit ice and was told that the Toro stage 2 snowblower would be a better choice due to ice chunks. I pointed out to Toro that their warranty card on the two stage also points out that warranty would be void if you hit an object, and the language is the same on both single stage and two stage for warranty so long story short, I simply sold my Toro and bought a two stage Ego 56v in a pinch and I have been very happy with that one so far.

I like how there's a new trend with these snowblower videos on youtube where you speed up the video to make it look like the snowblower throws the snow really fast and easy hahahahaha! you should speed it up even more next time so more people will go WOW and run right out and buy that snowblower hahahahahahaha!
