try putting the sensor on your wrist strap, where you check your pulse
I have tried but it didn't worked
why does your battery module have a non smd resistor
and can the arduino run on 1A?
To minimise the charging current I have soldered that resistor.
Arduino will run in less than 1A.

Currently I don't have the code. But you can find it easily in the example sketch of the Arduino IDE and modify it according to your need.
