So what, you get to call them 90 times out of a year or is this like for just the first 3 months that you are allowed to call them? What if you don’t have this can they still help you over the phone? In Australia if you’re buying for the warranty aspect it’s useless Australian consumer law sets a 2 year period on electronic goods if something fails you’re entitled to replacement, repair or refund and it’s also your choice. Buying for an iPhone however is a smart move, it cover accidental damage and can save you a lot of you break the screen as I learnt with my 7plus sometimes breaking the screen also breaks other components in my case the sound and microphone Apple care ended up saving me money that way. Oddly Apple has terms and conditions in its user agreement that impose restrictions but then they finish with A statement like nothing in this agreement overrides your rights under Australian consumer law and the legislation also says agreements and contracts that waive rights in Australia are invalid under the law.

I just got my MacBook Air fixed. I only had it for a month as well. I turned it on one day and there was some damage on the screen. No idea how it got there. They tried to charge me $435. I didn't pay anything. I explain it more in my video about that.
Applecare+ is available for purchase within 60 days as long as there is no hardware damage. Software issues can virtually always be fixed by putting the device in recovery mode and factory resetting it.
I had to swap my 2017 Macbook Pro for a new one within 5 DAYS of owning it because it wouldn't charge the battery anymore. The new one is working fantastic but I noticed something that the "Apple Genius bar" didn't - they had no idea what was wrong. The first MBP would pull up to 20.2 volts out of the wall, and apparently the Apple charger is supposed to stop at 20 volts. It would also jump around in voltage a lot. The replacement MBP stays very steady in the power it pulls and never goes above 20, as intended. So it appears there was something wrong with the charger and it eventually hurt the Macbook itself. I bet an independent computer repair tech would've figured this out.

Yea cuz I got charged under limited warranty so dumb. Apple makes u spend money man. It doesn't cover all the repairs but apple care covers for the first two accidental repairs.
AppleCare is not worth it imo. I asked if I drop water on it or I accidentally drop the screen and it cracks is it covered...no you pay a fee it's $99 to get a screen replacement. I paid $250 for apple care. It's $299+plus labor to get a screen replaced with no apple care. Next time I will be buying a Mac at Best Buy when this one gets to be too slow w/ geek squad. Geek squad looks like they have Better policies than apple.btw if you get a iPhone don't buy apple care they charge too much plus a fee if you break it. buy whatever Insuerance the phone company offers.
IMO it’s worth it if your using it a lot and plan on selling it since it will raise the selling price.. if something shitty happens like water damage or another keyboard problem that’s not covered it’s like 700 or more

You can't purchase Best Buy Protection with an Apple device. They can only offer you Apple care.
