In the troposphere, the normal lapse rate in 6.5°C per 1kilometre or 1000 metres. Assume that Mr Effutu has a height of 9,850 meters. It's middle portion is at an elevation of 5,200 meters. If the temperature at the middle portion is minus 14,°C (-14°C). (a)calculate the temperature at the top of mt. Effutu in the degree Celsius. (b) convert the answer bin "a" above to degree Fahrenheit (C) calculate the temperature at the foot of mt.effutu in degree Celsius (d) convert your answer bin "c" above to degree Fahrenheit
Abba em chepparu sir ...i am having an xm in the afternoon and i am not geeting an idea about lapse rate and now after watching ur video i am feeling that i had done my phd on lapse rate 😃😃 ...such a good exolanation 😍
You explained it so brilliantly sir! I aim to be a good teacher just like you.. Can you tell me which computer application you are using to mark every points while explaining? I am extremely new in teaching so this may be a very silly questions my apologies
I were wants this type lecture in my graduation and post graduation but no any professor could this.now ur lecture fullfilling my aspirations.it is very profitable for my English language enhancing and also revision of my geography subject.
Doctor, please help me. I have 15 years radiosonde data, so how can I determine the lapse rate tropopause temperature and the lapse rate tropopause height at this given data? thank you
But if we go higher in altitude..lets say tp himalayas which is a cold region...there must be high pressure... So how pressure is decreasing with inc altitude?????
You need to study it again in details...The air pressure at mount everest is 2/3 times less than that at mean sea level... It's not just cold that determines pressure...it's also the altitude and gasesous concentration.
Yes of course...it will be published as E-book once the climatology syllabus is completed...will post the e-book link from where you can buy it..best wishes 🌱😊
Hi...looking at the number of topics .. I Will be able to complete Climatology and Oceanography by the End of November going by one lecture upload per day...will only be able to start anything new after physical geography is completed...I hope you understand...my best wishes 🌱😊

I think you are confused between normal lapse rate with adiabtic lapse rate..watch the videos carefully... Going by your logic there should be very high pressure on Mount Everest...is it?

But in stratosphere and thermo sphere there is increase in temperature.
But are the reason of inverterd temperatures

sir thermodynamic derivation of lapse rate not available????
Have you watched adiabtic lapse rate video...if not do watch...in the Climatology playlist 👍
I want to research. But I could not pass net exam. So what can I do?
the average lapse rate between the tropopause level and all higher levels within 2 km
does not exceed 2 K/km. What does that mean, Doctor?
NO IDEA
Sir aap kabhi kabar hindi me samjaya karo bohot log apke videos dekhenge ☺
I do what i know the best...Happy with it...thanks
Plzzzzz lapse rate pe Punjabi Mai video bnado plzzzzz
Punjabi seekhni padegi pehle us k liye

Kindly sir hindi medium walo ka bhi care kre
But sir pressure increases with elevation bcoz temp.decreases ....both r inversly proportional to each other na😒
