However, the game can be made harder by using zero summons or buffs, and it can made easier using summons and buffs. You can also mix in the amount of difficulty by using the weakest summon and no buffs or by using tons of buffs but zero summons… The game is beautiful that way. Play how you feel like playing and get the right amount of challenge that works for you

Well it's ultimately knowledge that gives you the needed advantage, just not knowledge of the enemies movesets. If you know enough about game mechanics and what is op, you don't need to learn any moveset at all, thus knowledge is still the supreme stat.
But, in a sense, killing every boss in one shot requires more setup than any regular kill. Therefore, people who one shot every boss simply made better use of the games systems than you did. It’s not like you aren’t supposed to one shot them.

There's literally a new crystal tear that buff our summon and some faith spell that we can heal our mimic from a far and it only require you 18 faith, not only that, every major boss has summon NPC that bind to that specific boss and some has special dialogue for quest, definitely they're forcing us to summon if we're stuck, this is in the end a video game, we're supposed to have fun and not frustration, unless you're doing your own challenge or your pride
