@Firsthgyhgyhuy Lastujhujhuj ... I would say that Ireland were genuine contenders 18 months ago and after those wins over the AB's and England arguably the #1 team in the world. @@thecuttingsark5094 it can be worked on, but they're either not doing it, or he isn't listening. It's not just yesterday's game as I've watched him closely. I know he backs himself and that's great, but Big Joe is fast, yet not the absolute quickest and he was able to put a yard or two on Stockdale yesterday after being shown the outside. Still cannot believe Kearney's swinging arm into Curry's neck wasn't picked up. Should have been a red card on the day, and staggering that he hasn't been cited.
this is not the first time either, I think he avoids red cards cos he has a good reputation. in the Pro 14 final he takes out Hogg in the air and somehow avoids a red despite it being the most clear red card ever. he is a low key dirty player.
@@Demondoink1 Oh yes I remember watching that. Owens must have a Rob Kearney sized hole in his vision then. I would say the swinging arm with a closed fist on Curry was worse than his taking out of Hogg, but that both should have been a red and a ban.
Im seriously surprised Johnny May leading an elbow into Murray wasn’t picked up on either - way worse.
@@06alepea1 was Nigel Owen's the ref at the England match too? Hmmm, he must be friends with Kearney or something.
@@sambingham1196 This one is my fav from the butthurt Irish, Conor literally just ran into him headfirst, lol, it was totally his own fault.
Is there anything more satisfying than watching an in-form Manu Tuilagi?!
Nothing better brother
An in form Manu, with an in form Billy trucking it up the middle, and big Joe outside Manu, or looping back infield.. Defenders just saying "your man".. "No your man"... "No please, after you"
@@tollyt7465 😂👌
No, well maybe him and big zoe on the outside.
Watching a inform Nonu. How Hansen's not taking him is unbelievable. Nonu and Laumapi are our 2 Tuilagi's and both not going to W.C.
Instead they've chosen Sonny and Crotty. Both injury prone 🤬
Best game I saw live at Twickenham
Lets see if this happens in the world cup, consistency wins trophies not friendlies
@Firsthgyhgyhuy Lastujhujhuj ... I would say that Ireland were genuine contenders 18 months ago and after those wins over the AB's and England arguably the #1 team in the world. However it seems that they peaked too early. It will be very hard now, given the evidence of this performance, for them to recapture their form of 18 months ago. Too many of their key players are out of form or perhaps on the downside of their careers.
steven taylor looking forward to the World Cup very even tournament. 3 weeks ago Australia got a win against New Zealand then the following week got trounced, England gets a solid win, Wales ends up #1 in the world. South Africa wins the Champions cup. Any of these teams on the day can beat each other no easy beats.
@@paulrutherford5087 I agree, NZ most likely just because it is a world cup. South Africa, Wales and England are joint 2nd most likely.
Ireland, Australia are 3rd, despite their recent thrashings I doubt any of the above will be complacent playing them.

I’m hoping Joe Schmidt has some super secret tactic he’s saving for the World Cup and losing this game was all part of the plan. Because if I’m wrong Ireland have gone down the shitter
Gotta give to you guys, you can only beat what's in-front of you and England have truly humbled Ireland

That is gonna be one awkward father son dinner...
Did Stockdale have a horrendous defensive game?
The footage is here for you to be the judge of that.
Nearly as bad as his trim
Stockdale is abysmal defensively.. I've said it for 18 months and people just look at his attacking flair.. He's a liability as a defender, and has done nothing to put it right..
Tolly T Interesting. England obviously played a blinder and had an overlap which caused him to rush instead of drift, but it seams he really couldn’t make the right decisions and was caught out several times. Maybe he was just the unlucky position that got exposed, but it happened a few times in the game
@@thecuttingsark5094 it can be worked on, but they're either not doing it, or he isn't listening. It's not just yesterday's game as I've watched him closely. He gets dragged out of position and gives the outside when there's too much space to do it.. I know he backs himself and that's great, but Big Joe is fast, yet not the absolute quickest and he was able to put a yard or two on Stockdale yesterday after being shown the outside. That shows he's slow to turn, and his positional game isn't the best..
Whilst some are saying you can't read too much into these sort of friendlies I find it absolutely frightening when Jones says that they are 10% away from peak fitness and England have a lot more in them. Good momentum has been made so far and we can expect a thrilling world cup whichever way it goes.
Phil Morris what does that even mean “10% away from
Peak fitness” ... he’s just enjoying the fact that he’s actually winning again. I’m sure he’ll be the first to say “we lost last week - but to the number one team in the World” ... which all know Wales are not!
Good job lads! Great monentum for the World Cup
I liked the part where England scored a try.
There’s nobody like Tuilagi he’s a genuine freak of nature
Moggy471 he’s definitely athletic but Manu just has that natural power and explosiveness. A lot of people could never get quads like his, even on steroids
What's happened to Cockanasinga ?
i mean i'll say it, ben youngs was lucky ireland had a poor day. his entire game was riddled with mistakes and not simply ones that can be put down to him being a bit rusty. bright note was willi heinz impact
Youngs was crap, but he has had little game time.
I think that’s a little harsh. He had a few duff moments but most of England’s points were scored while he was playing. No way a team can play that well if the 9 isn’t doing something right, no?
@@MartinG_TH-cam He had a very bad game. Kicked out on the full twice. Most of his other box kicks were too long and just gave Ireland the ball back which isn't ideal when you're still in your own half. He passed the ball to the feet of players 3-4 times and once to literally no one. Everyone can forgiven a few mistakes but not 10+ in a single match. Personally I would have given him a rating of 3/10 for the match.
@Firsthgyhgyhuy Lastujhujhuj ?
Mate, he was awful. Your analysis isn’t accurate.
This was like a 90's Ireland England game.
More like early 2000s.
As an Irish fan, going into the World Cup with little momentum doesn’t surprise me.
Ireland’s first try - that pass out to stockdale was so blatantly forward! It leaves his hands on a clear line in the grass and is collected about 5m in front of it
someone knows the music at 2:07 ?
The first Ireland try looked like it had a forward pass.
Youngs to Itoje looked forward as well so I guess that evened it up
I didn’t really matter!
@@ollieflux5628 Not in the grand scheme of things.
@@philipeafroboy1 Pause it at 3:04 as it leaves youngs hands and its fine. We have had our share of kick chasers etc offside and been given tries over the years too so I'm not grumbling, just stating an observation.

2:11 Curry gets a high tackle, looks like a yellow tbh?
@James Solda Straight and obvious red card. This isn't pussy rugby league were you can team up and tackle people and get dirty cheap shots in on unaware players. Leading with the shoulder at head height is the most dumbass thing ive ever seen.

New systems, new coach. Rugby changes just like any other sport. Plus this was a World Cup year so obviously everything came to a crescendo tactically speaking. I don't think it's doom and gloom for England, though.
