First Ninja Swipe- Acrylic Paint Pouring Fluid Art

Welcome to Friday Night Firsts, the series where I search the internet for acrylic pouring techniques I have never done before and do them with no practice. In this episode, I’m trying the Ninja Swipe technique, which I learned by watching a few video One by ‪@grandmakathysartventure2300‬ and some by ‪@NateBrightArt‬ and‪@MixedMediaGirl‬@SarahMac. Watch me as I attempt this technique for the first time and see how it turns out. Will I succeed or fail?

I saw the paint sitting there and thought those colours wouldn't go together well. Happily I was very wrong and they worked really well together.

Thank you Paul…. Seeing all those greens in there but it worked out. By now J think we watch the same artist so do you think I do Left Brain Artists Eye Painting or do I finally try a grenade pour.

Well David's not even confident he got the eye right yet but have a go by all means. The end result can be really good or a disaster but you won't know unless you try it. I think you could do a grenade pour pretty good. I'd suggest running the lip of the cup through the paint for a bit after you pull the pin so it acts a bit like a marble pour. Good results that way.
