It's nice to see other manufacturers producing hall effect switches, but from my perspective reducing the switch travel from the full 4.0mm is a major negative. I hope TTC releases a deeper travel switch as a follow up for gamers who will benefit from it.
i would assume for a HE switch that a long spring would make it less effective since it lessens the difference in pressure from the start to the end of the press thus giving you a much tighter pressure range to work with, where you may normally have a ~20g pressure range to work with from top to bottom of the key stroke(for most mid weight linears), with such a long spring you could possibly have less than 15g difference from top to bottom(could be wrong on the numbers) just requiring more presicion to effectively make use of rt/custom actuations. plus it will both increase the initial force to get the switch moving(rt actuation) thus making the press slower and decrease the end force meaning youd have to release more before the switch starts moving back up(rt deactuation) relative to a regular ~15mm spring with the same force at the middle of the key stroke. The main appeal of long springs in mechanical switches is to make the keys FEEL more responsive by tightening up that pressure range thus making you bottom out faster after the initial movement making it feel 'snappier' while still keeping the same actuation force compared to a shorter spring, but in terms of rt performance and actually being able to make use of the custom actuations youd want the opposite, a shorter spring so you dont just "fall through" with your presses but to actually have control of how far the key is pressed and giving a broader pressure range to work with.
since the total travel is 3.5mm does it affect in any way the rappid trigger? Like when you go all down reaching the 4.0mm? i think its a dumb question but i really want to know
hey migs, just got these for my wooting. I'm wondering if I need to get new stabilizers that have the same total travel of the switches? sometimes while in game it feels like it does shift slightly to one side after a few rounds.🧐
really depends on what you're looking for in a keyboard, I did make a tierlist video so you might wanna watch that, but try searching for the made68 pro, really nice 68% he keyb
I contacted varmilo but they don't provide a note with a declaration below the product, so in my country it's a bit complicated to import a made68, I saw your video about the iqunix z63 and it seemed like a very solid keyboard with great performance, Do you think there are other options similar to z63 or made68? In general, I just wanted something that had the magnetic switch
imo the mousepad I would recommend for any skates is gosu gaming gear (GGG) mousepads. They're only available in the Philippines and many have already said that it rivals Artisan, if not, exceeds Artisan's quality.
@@NightmareChronicles49 So drunkdeer uses propriety switches, so they can only use THEIR OWN SWITCHES, and if you do move the switches around it has a chance to mess up the magnetic calibration. Additionally, some switches arent compatible with some hall effect pcbs. for example, wooting60 cannot use drunkdeer switches, as they are south polarity. whereas wooting60 can use jade switches, lekker switches etc because they are north polarity switches.

Thanks for watching :D I can see others liking 4mm too, hopefully they provide different options in the future.
i mean jades are also 3.5 and everyone are loving it
It’s to get the long pole bottom out feel I’m guessing. It’s not for everyone
nice video bro, it proved that my theory was right about the snappiness as well as the bounce back. keep it up bro love ur vids man
Ey! thank you bro! I'm glad I can help.

2x price over gateron jade, oh well, thank you ttc.
is this your fav HE keyswitches?
Performance and feeling wise, yes
God bless you man. Keep grinding. 👍🏻
Thank you man! God bless you too

Yes if the total travel of a switch is 3.5mm but you have the option to do 4mm in the software it might not actuate. So 3.5mm will be your lowest

I don't think you need new stabs for this, the wooting stabs should work fine with it.
God bless you, Migss!!!❤❤❤
God bless you too, Mark!!!
2:48 centimeter lol
I missed that xD mm* thanks for pointing it out
does it not interfere with the hall effect software features? the actuation point differences and whatnot considering the different spring size.
Haven't really had any experience like that, it's been smooth for me so far
Which he keyboard would you recommend? preference for models 60/63/66/68

14 cm thats crazy how did they fit that in there? @2:55
Hahah, I missed that, sorry about that. Thanks for pointing it out as well
does lekker switches fit on the melgeek made68 pro? please release sound test as i’m curious since i purchased the melgeek
it should fit fine, since these switches fit in the made68 pro and it also fits with wooting with lekker switches
this is the mode 68pro stock switches ?
It should be from what I'm informed of
Does it still feel Linear? Is it still easy to press down 1 2 3 mm?
It is louder than some linear switches I've tried but yeah I'd say it's still pretty linear. Pretty easy to press too.
what's your recommend mousepad for glass skates?
you shouldnt even be buying glass skates, they wear down really quickly, glass mousepads are much better with obsidian dot skates
I don't really use glass skates so I'm not sure.
imo the mousepad I would recommend for any skates is gosu gaming gear (GGG) mousepads. They're only available in the Philippines and many have already said that it rivals Artisan, if not, exceeds Artisan's quality.
