This is a great explanation of tracking! But I didn't expect a great explanation of nodes! Your explanations of nodes really help me to understand how nodes work. So I'm subscribing to see more great work of yours. Thanks!
Dude this is like the 8th "How to track in davinci resolve" video I have watched and it is the easier to follow and the only one that worked for me. Also be rest assured that I used to make something just as stupid if not more than what you did in the video
Perfectly explained, thanks!. 😃😃😃 In case you want to know, I'll use what I learned here to track map symbols into an aerial shot from a Milsim game that I was part of a few months ago. The idea is to let the audience know where everybody is in relation to each other.
Very cool effect to learn, thanks! I remember when Tom Bergeron hosted Funniest Home Videos, he'd run a video with his head overlaid onto a person in the video, and his head would track the movement of the person. This must be how they did that.
This was a beautiful and helpful tutorial, and it really gave me inspiration to try out DaVinci Resolve myself. Thank you so much, and you deserve my sub the most!
Bear in mind that people aren't going to watch on a display with that aspect ratio so it actually makes everything extra small. Might want to record these in 16:9 especially if you're using 16:9 footage like in the intro
Appreciate the tutorial. It worked for a while, then all of a sudden my img. just dont appear on screen anymore, and resetting, re-doing etc etc etc, nothing works. It just doesnt appear ontop. Its gone invisible.
what If I wanted to put a video of my face saying something onto the bird's head. Would I do the same thing but just use a video file instead of the minecraft jpeg?
How do I make the image track and resize properly to follow something that is getting further away? For example, I wanna make a meme with that video of Kirby falling off of a cliff. This method you showed tracks wherever Kirby goes just fine, but I can't get the image to get smaller as Kirby falls further away.
every tutorial out there is super serious and professional and Im out here taking notes trying to make memes, thank you very much great video
dude you're a fucking legend
no clickbait, no stretching the video to 10 mins, just straight to the point.
Exactly what i needed.
The video is literally almost 10 minutes.
My problem is why don't you have more subs?? Perfect tutorial and funny af.
Thanks, That means a lot!
@@PRISMProductionsChannel 30,000 people have seen your video and haven't subscribed, smh
Video was very informative without all the bs. Thank you very much!
For those whose image does not pop up after dragging into the scene..follow step at 5:27 "Match Move" and your image will appear
I wanna kiss you so bad
Is there a size requirement?
thx
I need to hug you, thanks
tysmmmm

Just had an application that needed this! This really hoped out!
Thanks, man. Helpful tutorial.
Just a suggestion though, if you get a pop filter for your mic, you won't have all those plosives and breath sounds.

Thank you!
the sheep head looks good on a bird
10/10 would track again
pretty funny too thank you for your help
Anyone else experiencing problems while watching this specific video?
I apologize, the video is recorded in ultra wide format and I know that causes problems for a lot of people.
@@PRISMProductionsChannel It's fine. It was just a little confusing. No need to apologize. Really great tutorial by the way! :)
@@peixeman Thanks! Glad it could still help!
Really nice, thanks dude
How about tracking video with another video
what If I wanted to put a video of my face saying something onto the bird's head. Would I do the same thing but just use a video file instead of the minecraft jpeg?
the amount of times you've said "what is this" lmao
How can you place a video on top of the bird's head, instead of an image, and have it play at the same time?
How do I make the image track and resize properly to follow something that is getting further away?
For example, I wanna make a meme with that video of Kirby falling off of a cliff. This method you showed tracks wherever Kirby goes just fine, but I can't get the image to get smaller as Kirby falls further away.
Does it meen that you could track the black bird and then put the sheep head on the white bird threw the transforming note?
Thanks!
You are amazing!!!
