In my mind, Mono should never have been betrayed, and I can't understand why Six would unless she became a monster inside the tower - even after Mono rescued her. Mono was a better Six, a better person. He was stronger, more powerful - mentally and supernaturally - and he was destined to be great. But he trusted Six, and was let down. And it makes sense why Mono was the only one who could defeat what he would become. Rest in Peace Mono. Your taste in masks and your epic powers and feats will not be forgotten.

I agree that Mono was a amazing person, but there's just one thing; Mono dragged Six through absolute hell. Six was tortured, kidnapped, crushed by buildings, and she STILL stood by Mono's side. I'm sure Mono never meant her any harm, but Six still suffered. And back in the Signal Tower, when Six was a monster, she still trusted him. She trusted him enough to show him her most prized possession, the one thing that makes her feel safe and calm, and what did Mono do? He destroyed it in front of her eyes. He took away (although I'm sure he didn't mean to) her heaven. The one thing that made her feel safe in the screwed over world they live in. And given by Six's reaction, it's likely that Mono destroying the box caused her physical pain as well. That was the moment he completely lost Six's trust. Six didn't see him as the same anymore. She dropped him because she figured that if she continued to follow him, if she continued to trust him, she thought that she'd still be suffering. In her mind, Mono wasn't a friend to her. He wasn't even an ally to her at that point. He was just another unfortunate kid who would continue to make her life more miserable than it already is if she let him stick around. Believe me when I say I love Mono with all my heart. But I can also understand why Six might've made the choices she did. (Sorry this was so long! Have a great day!)
