*Remembers when entire screen went black like a movie theater, Seltzer bottle appeared. Suddenly, the installer video came on. Pure excitement flooded through me. There, began my Toontown journey...* Pure nostalgia.
I feel you. Toontown Online was so awesome. It's my fault I took that long break from it. Goodbye. Hot Dog. Hello Mr. Loopy Danderdorf. BTW Mr. Loopy is on Rewritten.
Nostalgia story time: 2nd grade. Played every single day, had a 128 laff toon. When TTO closed, mom let me stay home from school adn enjoy the last few hours of TTO.
+MonitaLeaf12 I remember like it was yesterday. Remember we could had a shortcut brown dog icon that leads us to the website before the launcher. Good old days. :)
+MonitaLeaf12 I remember always getting ready for school while it loaded with the seltzer bottle back when I was still in elementary school :D Now i've already graduated i: time really flies.
i remember listening to this song while toontown was downloading so i was just dancing while waiting and stuff.. who knew toontown was only like couple hundred megabytes or so and i was waiting forever for the download to finish.. now these days it would take only mere seconds to finish xD
Just thought I'd let everyone know that I can finally say that this is my last Toontown soundtrack upload. There is literally no other song left, as I have every song in the game and even the ones that didn't make the cut. Thanks for the support everybody and even if we can't play the game anymore, the music will still be here forever!
This game has such a nice soundtrack. It was amazing for it's time, and it would've continued to be great... If Disney updated it. Now, ToonTown has shut down. It's kinda sad. A game with so much potential got shut down.
Yeah OnO At least we have TTR and TTI I prefer TTR because, well they didnt change the music and the new pieces of music that they used are amazing. Also the whole plot OuO But all other servers are great too, after all, they did bring our childhood back
Joseph Gallagher Woah, 2 tv's purchased because of that? TTR is really powerful. It's just..the music makes me tear up. It brings back so many memories ;)
toontownvioletbunny You do realize you just contradicted yourself, right? "I prefer TTR because, well they didnt change the music.." "...and the new pieces of music that they used are amazing."
Radon What she meant was they didnt change the ENTIRE SOUNDTRACK, and the new music they created for their events that didnt already HAVE music were awesome and still sounded Toony. So no, she didn't contradict herself.
Hannah Chrisselle you do know that the TTR team doesn't accept any form of donation or anything else of the sort right? So you saying that "if you want a beta key your gonna have to buy it" is completely false.
I used to uninstall and reinstall Toontown just so that I could hear this song over and over again. (I was like 7. I didn't know how to find the file in the game folder and I didn't know about TH-cam)
i remember when i had to sit through the installation screen/into for an hour or two. good times. man, the installation music is great though. personally, it's one of my favorites in the whole ost(?) itself.
I so remember when I was six and downloading TTO on my grandmas computer for the first time. XD The memories theese soundtracks have...TTR has some of them, yes, but it'll never be the same, they redid all the music...
This is my favourite Toontown song... And my favourite song in general. I remember waking up and running downstairs to play my computer. The seltzer bottle loading screen, nostalgic music, everything. It stinks that they stopped playing this song. I'm seriously going to cry from nostalgia.
The end of one timeline begins another. Such nostalgia is associated with this simple melody from the 2000's. Doctor Surlee, Sir Max, you've outdone yourselves.
Memories broken The truth goes unspoken I’ve even forgotten my name I don’t know the season Or what is the reason I’m standing here holding my blade A desolate place Without any trace It’s only the cold wind I feel It’s me that I spite As I stand up and fight The only thing I know for real There will be blood-shed The man in the mirror nods his head The only one left Will ride upon the dragon’s back Because the mountains don’t give back what they take Oh no There will be blood-shed It’s the only thing I’ve ever known Losing my identity Wondering have I gone insane To find the truth in front of me I must climb this mountain range Looking downward from this deadly height And never realizing why I fight - Jamie Christopherson, aka the same guy who composed this
I didn't even notice the similarities between this song and the Sellbot/Cashbot HQ Courtyard themes. Wow. Thanks for the only high-quality upload of the Installer theme, and thanks for all of your work on the soundtrack! :D
It was obviously for money, but people grew up with Club Penguin too, so you're kinda being a bastard to them if you keep commenting that THEIR childhood game is shit. What would you do if someone said TTO was boring?
I remember playing this when I was like 5 and having no clue what was going on, or what to do, but I played it literally all the time and had a freaking blast
Same! I remember trying to play this game MULTIPLE times but my computer would just give up as soon as i got to the character creation screen. I was so dissapointed at it not working, especially because i really did want to play the game, eventually i decided to try and see if it worked on my grandparents computer so i tried it on there and a look of excitement spread on my face as i went pass the character creation screen and created my toon. I was finally playing Toontown, and BOY was i happy. I played the game whenever i was at my grandparents and i loved it even if i never went anywhere and never could because of membership and the fact that i dont usually get membership for games i cant play at home due to the fact that i only got to visit my grandparents so often. so when i saw the closure message i was surprised, i didnt think Toontown would close, and Pixie hollow and POTCO seemed more reasonable to close in my eyes, as i thought TT was more popular (not as popular as CP by a landslide but still) but i was sad and played TT for the last time at my grandparents while i was out to there place for the summer, as i would be at home and unable to play toontown when the game closed. I have memories of humming the games themes (like the main themesong, the battle theme, and maybe Cogtastrophe )(i still do end up humming them lol) and making a cringey flipnote on it on my DSi while my parents are clueless on whatever the hecc i was doing and why was i singing some random song (to them it was random. But it was infact, the toontown theme song) in front of my DS. Good memories. Recently i installed TTR on my grandparents computer as i have not played toontown in a long time and i wanted to again (and maybe this time, actually progress through the game) Honestly, it feels like nothing has changed since those days, especially since i can only play TTR on my grandparents computer, just with TTO (but under slightly different circumstances) and even if my TTR toon isnt the same as my TTO toon (My TTR toon is a short blue deer, whom im not sure if TTR has accepted her name or not but i hope so, it should be okay. my TTO toon is a mostly Lime Green cat named Kitty Kat, most creative name i know) playing TTR still brings those memories i had with playing TTO and watching videos on Toontown.
Toontown rewritten should make a new cog boss: the chairman, as well as Cog Nation “Factory”. You should be able to go into cog nation and do a cool level, and this music should play on cog nation. That would be legendary.
The Fite Show (ToonTown) Well I remember hearing a song similar when running around the sellbot factory but it had a chance to play. I remember this because I got lost once and a song very similar to thing played. Which made me feel more lost, followed by the sound of unlocking metal doors. Luckily I had help finding my way, ended up going back to an alternative entrance XD
God the vivid memories of playing this in 2005, making my light pink cat with a pastel yellow shirt and green eyes, I called her Strawberry Banana Smoothie (I don't know what her name actually was lol), I remember sitting at the computer playing the vine jumping game... and then my mom helped me get one of those pet dog things, mine was a purpley-pink one with teal spots and her name was Dream!
It's not actually in the game itself, but it used to play during the installing video when first downloading the game. I think around the time they created the Toontown Launcher is when they got rid of the song that used to accompany the video. Either that, or when they created the new website back in 2010.
Sooner or later, Club Penguin is going to be shut down too. When the day comes when that awful shit of a game shuts down, I'll celebrate. I'm also glad there is Toontown Rewritten, so we have that.
Lmao, the game shut down on March 29 hahaha. Disney is getting cheaper and cheaper... Remember on the last month of Toontown they have everyone a membership? Well, only on the last day of Club Penguin, Disney gave everyone membership... smh gee thanks Disney!
Oh my gawd, I miss toontown so much! I even miss the cogs! I especially miss my toon. Why Disney, why did you have to do it? Get rid of each actual GOOD game for *Shivers* Club Penguin -_-
Mr Meow I found TTI last month, its just so laggy! I cant play TTR yet, playline, and I dont have the same time for the Playtime, and I dont have a key. So... I miss old TT >.
jaylaalyse Just be patient. If you start the playline when you go to bed, it will usually change around midnight and then you'll be able to play the next day.
if you played ToonTown as a kid then you my friend were a rad kid
Ow, the year of 2011. And my Childhood comes to an end soon enough...
I played since I was 3
FUCKING 3
It's 2016
I played at 5
...I know that.
BTW Mr. Loopy is on Rewritten.
i feel bad for kids now adays that have to grow up playing stupid pay2win competitive games :( the early 2000s was such a golden age for many lives
legit, same
The same thing happened to me; I left Toontown for a while (I still liked it) and BOOM! IT CLOSED! (Crappy Club Penguin...)
They closed down Toontown for Club Penguin, and now they're closing down Club Penguin. So basically, TTO shut down for no reason..
Nostalgia story time: 2nd grade. Played every single day, had a 128 laff toon. When TTO closed, mom let me stay home from school adn enjoy the last few hours of TTO.
+Primitive Pancakes Lucky, my mom made me stay at school, I cried for like 5 hours when I came home.
You lucky so-and-so.
that's a very great story
Late reply
On the day it closed, my mom picked me up from school early and bought me a Pokémon card tin
Your mom rocks :D
I had to get the help of my brothers to get to where my toon was (128 laff)
This brings back so many memories! Anyone else remember the seltzer bottle filling up, to let you know it was loading?
MonitaLeaf12 I do!
MonitaLeaf12 Oh yes, the in browser days. .. When my computer crashed every 30 min playing toontown.
+MonitaLeaf12 I remember like it was yesterday.
Remember we could had a shortcut brown dog icon that leads us to the website before the launcher. Good old days. :)
gameexpert2011 I remember the brown dog too!! Those days were the best :')
0:00 "In just a few minutes, you'll be playing the best game in the Tooniverse. While you wait, take a look at what Toontown has in store for you!"
Just thought I'd let everyone know that I can finally say that this is my last Toontown soundtrack upload.
Imo TTi's soundtrack had way better composers and tracks than TTO and TTR.
"Sadly, there is trouble brewing in Toontown" and that, was how Toontown became a big part in my childhood.
Toontown was the only reason why I got into video games in the first place. Too bad they shut the servers down. Thank God for ttr. 🐭
(sobs of nostalgia)
Oraname Why don't you just play it? TTR has tons of people on it everyday
GenuinelyUniqueGents CAUSE MY PARENTS DONT LET ME GET TTR!!!!!!!!!!
Oraname welp, ttr is free tho but if you want beta key, i think you will buy it but even if you have no beta key, it still worth it :)
Hannah Chrisselle uh, theres no more keys anymore, you can just download it
Hannah Chrisselle you do know that the TTR team doesn't accept any form of donation or anything else of the sort right? So you saying that "if you want a beta key your gonna have to buy it" is completely false.
I get an intense nostalgia attack when I listen to this
If they don't have this in the Toontown Rewritten installer, I shall be very sad.
i have the client itself. it's just some boring regular installer thing. i hope they somehow reuse this track ;;
They do :)
FailFilm The reused the track so when you're installing TTR it plays, it's pretty awesome. :)
Soleurs They have it for the cashbot mint theme now.
no, that's not the cashbot mint theme.
Only veterans remember this. >:)
>:D
I used to uninstall and reinstall Toontown just so that I could hear this song over and over again. (I was like 7. I didn't know how to find the file in the game folder and I didn't know about TH-cam)
Ahh...this when installing the game. Brings back memories of when I was a little kid :( And even when I started playing again last summer
This takes me back to when I created a new Toontown account every 3 days when they had 3-day trials.
This would get me so hyped lol with that video playing
I can’t believe I was like 4 when I started this, I just turned 17 and most Toontown players seem to be in their 20s even 30s now
I am also 17. This game was a classic
Comrade United, you have such a pure soul for uploading this song.
Predecessor to metal gear rising: revengeance music
I USED TO LISTEN TO THIS SONG FOR LIKE 100TH TIME I REALLY LOVE THIS SONG SOOOOO MUCH!!!!
i remember when i had to sit through the installation screen/into for an hour or two. good times.
man, the installation music is great though. personally, it's one of my favorites in the whole ost(?) itself.
I so remember when I was six and downloading TTO on my grandmas computer for the first time. XD The memories theese soundtracks have...TTR has some of them, yes, but it'll never be the same, they redid all the music...
***** I don't play or support TTI so I don't know if they did. If they did then yes.
The good old ActiveX days with the seltzer bottle loading screen in IE! :'D
+Connor Matthews All you had to say was ActiveX :')
This is in the key of F# minor
A relevant key to A major.
OK...?
This gets a stamp of approval from a guy with perfect pitch
Triton Lord Thank you very much! 😁💕❤️😄❤️😄😎
And they run when the sun comes up
When ToonTown was still up, I used this as the cog factory soundtrack in my nightlife resource pack. Good times...
nightlife lives on
It lives on.
This is my favourite Toontown song... And my favourite song in general. I remember waking up and running downstairs to play my computer. The seltzer bottle loading screen, nostalgic music, everything. It stinks that they stopped playing this song. I'm seriously going to cry from nostalgia.
Oh... my... I remember this! It's so... friggen... nostalgic.... I almost forgot this music existed!
Omg I love how rewritten added this song for the launcher
The end of one timeline begins another.
Such nostalgia is associated with this simple melody from the 2000's.
Doctor Surlee, Sir Max, you've outdone yourselves.
this song is bringing back memories of when i played this game on my windows xp pc when i was five
Holy fuck I remember this game ;( nostalgia
Why is this installer theme so good?
I honestly was a club penguin kid but this game seems fun
Toontown rewritten is back online so you can download and play it
Yah :D
Glad to have Toontown back via Rewritten.
This is such a bop. Wish it played in-game.
Memories broken
The truth goes unspoken
I’ve even forgotten my name
I don’t know the season
Or what is the reason
I’m standing here holding my blade
A desolate place
Without any trace
It’s only the cold wind I feel
It’s me that I spite
As I stand up and fight
The only thing I know for real
There will be blood-shed
The man in the mirror nods his head
The only one left
Will ride upon the dragon’s back
Because the mountains don’t give back what they take
Oh no
There will be blood-shed
It’s the only thing I’ve ever known
Losing my identity
Wondering have I gone insane
To find the truth in front of me
I must climb this mountain range
Looking downward from this deadly height
And never realizing why I fight
- Jamie Christopherson, aka the same guy who composed this
wait WHAT
The fact that this shares a leitmotif with the Cog facilities in their HQs is kind of neat.
Long live Toontown Legends.
I didn't even notice the similarities between this song and the Sellbot/Cashbot HQ Courtyard themes. Wow.
Thanks for the only high-quality upload of the Installer theme, and thanks for all of your work on the soundtrack! :D
This brings back memories... ...oh Disney... why did you have to murder this BEAUTIFUL game for the ROTTEN CLUB PENGUIN!?
Lily Schultz Money

It was obviously for money, but people grew up with Club Penguin too, so you're kinda being a bastard to them if you keep commenting that THEIR childhood game is shit. What would you do if someone said TTO was boring?
@@ootr8584 I couldn't agree more
I remember having this install overnight and just having to wait until morning to play. Such a long wait but so worth it
So many memories. I remember having the BEST years of my life playing TTO
I never got to hear this, however, from the comments, it sounded amazing.
I've never played this game, but the music still gives me nostalgic chills.
I remember this!! :D
My mom Installed Toontown Online on her old XP laptop and I heard that, and it got me really excited to play the game..
sounds like lawbot hq mix with cashbot mints music... its amazing! fellow tto member here!
This is used in ttr now yay
On a mac
Thank you for this! I haven't heard this since I was like 5
miss this!!! :(
I can remember this when it was first time I could listen to it.
Ahh yes, Spring 2009 Flashbacks (oh how I miss those times) ;-;
ty! so much nostalgia as a kid coming back! this should have been the SBHQ and CBHQ theme
I remember in France we had a trial disc sent in when you subscribed to a Disney Magasine.
Needless to say, my parents also paid for Toontown
I remember playing this when I was like 5 and having no clue what was going on, or what to do, but I played it literally all the time and had a freaking blast

I used to play this so much as a kid, and Pirates Online lol
even though i tried playing toontown on a bunch of computers i only saw this once
This piece was the basis for Cog Invasion, A.K.A., Toonfest in the FNF mod Disney Club, specifically in the week titled Welcome to ToonTown.
Toontown rewritten should make a new cog boss: the chairman, as well as Cog Nation “Factory”. You should be able to go into cog nation and do a cool level, and this music should play on cog nation. That would be legendary.
This was also made by a creator of metal gear ost.
I hum this during school...
🙂 Thank You So Much! If you haven't recorded this music, it'll probably have been lost forever once Disney had cancelled ToonTown Online.
The nostalgia level is over 9000
Glad to know this is in the TTR install :D
I had this music in my head during the entire IT class...
Yessssssssss
Oh the nostalgia... this brings back so many memories :')
I installed it recently (a few months ago) because I got a new computer and this song played.
Omfg i remember this and I MISS IT!
Gets me bloody pumped!
I remember this
I remember hearing this when I first downloaded the game... oh nostalgia....
This song also plays when you are in a factory
Actually a remix of it.
Distress transmission.exe, ONLINE! The motif of this song in a nutshell.
Brings back memories :)
Ah good times runing through the sellbot factory to hear this song during the platforming parts ^^
It was actually a different song, just similar.
FailFilm Ah okay ^^
FailFilm Was it?
The Fite Show (ToonTown) Well I remember hearing a song similar when running around the sellbot factory but it had a chance to play.
I remember this because I got lost once and a song very similar to thing played. Which made me feel more lost, followed by the sound of unlocking metal doors.
Luckily I had help finding my way, ended up going back to an alternative entrance XD
I remember hearing it in a factory too
Why do i remember this one so dang much
So much memories even though I never got a membership
God the vivid memories of playing this in 2005, making my light pink cat with a pastel yellow shirt and green eyes, I called her Strawberry Banana Smoothie (I don't know what her name actually was lol), I remember sitting at the computer playing the vine jumping game... and then my mom helped me get one of those pet dog things, mine was a purpley-pink one with teal spots and her name was Dream!
AAAAAAAAAAH NOSTALGIA!!!! HAND! HURRY UP AND PAUSE IT!!! ;-;
Toontown fan.... Toontown fan. Toontown fan, my dear. I'm fairly certain almost everyone in the Tooniverse is aware of Toontown Rewritten.
It's not actually in the game itself, but it used to play during the installing video when first downloading the game. I think around the time they created the Toontown Launcher is when they got rid of the song that used to accompany the video. Either that, or when they created the new website back in 2010.
Remember what corporate clash took from u
Thank you so much!
Thanks Comrade!
TTO IS COMING BACK ON MOBILE
really?
Fluffy The Toontown TH-camr I think that’s for dessert storm, which is only out on Android
Lowkey pops off
I just realized that this sounds like the Factory theme. :o
Omg yessss
This kind of makes me think of the Sellbot Factory music.
Oh! So this is what TTR's new Cashbot Mint theme was based off! I can't believe I didn't realise that.
That's what I was thinking!
I know! When I first heard it I'm just like MINT MUSIC?!
Umm.. you do know that the music in it that the DIDNT add was also this, right?
Yeah, they really remixed it.
This one is way better :(
Sooner or later, Club Penguin is going to be shut down too. When the day comes when that awful shit of a game shuts down, I'll celebrate. I'm also glad there is Toontown Rewritten, so we have that.
M95 club penguin shut down.... you were right it was gonna shut down
Lmao, the game shut down on March 29 hahaha. Disney is getting cheaper and cheaper... Remember on the last month of Toontown they have everyone a membership? Well, only on the last day of Club Penguin, Disney gave everyone membership... smh gee thanks Disney!
thank you! :'D
i have a scrached up version of this, i need the new one to make a full tt sound track for my ipod :D thanks!
Oh my gawd, I miss toontown so much! I even miss the cogs! I especially miss my toon. Why Disney, why did you have to do it? Get rid of each actual GOOD game for *Shivers* Club Penguin -_-
look up toontown rewritten or toontown infinite... you can play toontown infinite for free right this second :D
Mr Meow I found TTI last month, its just so laggy! I cant play TTR yet, playline, and I dont have the same time for the Playtime, and I dont have a key. So... I miss old TT >.
i know that its laggy but they are making so much lag fixes same with ttr. iyt will be good when it comes out :D
hopefully..
Hopefully? XD
jaylaalyse Just be patient. If you start the playline when you go to bed, it will usually change around midnight and then you'll be able to play the next day.
yay ur first real Toontown song
It used to be the music when you were installing toontown :D
love dis sawng!
