Good Morning Gayle! You heard me yelling wipe the rest of the inks on the plain piece of paper..I will wipe them off on sticker labels, index cards, Rolodex cards,blank post cards and Manila file folders and the list goes on. Stamp an image on them and it comes out nice too. Excessive heat wave this week, dying papers a must. Have a wonderful crafting day! 👍🌻🌻🌻🐇

Hi Gayle. Doing splattered paper & things is so much fun. Way back when I did a lot of painting, I would often splatter black with a fan brush on a finished picture. It added so much. Now I’m splattering paper things. 💕

You were talking about your dishwasher rumbling as you were shaking your stamping pad - that brought back a memory:
When we lived in Lima, Peru in the early ‘70s we had a huge earthquake. It hit just as I pushed the start button on my washing machine - it would be impossible to describe all the thoughts that went through my head relating to the state of repair of that machine). A friend of mine had just pulled the string to flush her toilet (it was one of those old fashioned kinds with a long chain above it for flushing)
Oh my gosh, I bet! 😳. Hilarious! 😂❤
Coffee, that’s what you used to do when you made these before you splattered coffee first. You thought you were forgetting something and you thought it was wetting the paper, but it was coffee. ☕️

Good morning Gayle & friends. OK, I has hanging in on the spatters but the peacock feather pieces, now you’re talking my colors. I usually take a paint brush to pick up the ink from my block and then tap it on the side of the block to get my splats. Now I gotta try this method. It does create some very unique pieces. @@gayleagostinelli_ctGayle, swiping the ink/paint off the block may be easier on your hands and wrists. If you use a fan brush, the splats will look the same. You may end up flicking paint outside the box, though😅.
I love this technique! I just rewatched Luise Heinzle’s “Jazz Up Your Scraps” video and then I played a little with some scraps. I also randomly stamped some partial images and text. Fun, fun!

I always love splatter papers! I execially loved the cheesecloth. I think you could get some cool colour combinations with pinks and turquoise, and the autumnal colours you did were great! The one with the huge black splatters would be perfect for a really grungy journal, so I'm sure you'll get use out of it. Your reaction was hilarious though! Another fun video!

I watched this just before leaving on vacation and that was a bad idea because now I want to SPLATTER!!! 😂
Hi Gayle...got Some lovely colors & designs there hun. I personally wldnt use blocks to drip ink ( as seems to waste so much of that lovely ( yet expensive) Tim Holtz ink! I often find that by spraying or 'brush splatterting' watererd down ink & paint,, directly onto paper ( or any medium etc) i can easily get loads more paper sheets done, than using your method... Without massive expense of buying more ink ( as keeping costs down is so important nowadays fir many of us now sadly. Another great splatter method can be achieved by refilling all empty printer ink cartridges with water to dilute the leftover ink. You get tonnes of diluted ink colours that last months ( especiallly on copy paper! You can even add drops of yr favourite perfume to the diluted bittkes for a scent that last weeks! ❤

Splattering and spraying are so much fun. I use Lava soap to get inks, paints, etc off my hands. I do have gloves in a bottle but tend to forget to use.

Hey there girlfriend 😊😊😊. I splatter coffee and food coloring and I have set up some window screens to do it on and they dry super fast. I'm really loving your version, I would never have thought of it myself. You always amaze me. I 💕💕💕 the results you get. I wish I had the inventory of supplies like you do. I treat myself to a couple of things every month but I'm saving for a Scan-n-Cut.
I'm going to try your version of splatter today but with the food coloring. Hope it works. Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍 💕💕💕.
Don’t know what you are planning to use the Scan & Cut for, but…just my experience…I fought with it for a couple months, then gave it away. The gal I gave it away to also gave it away. It didn’t work at all for what I wanted, which was help fussy cutting. But then I’m not very techie, so maybe that was the problem. Anyway, that was a $600 giveaway for me. 😩❤
So this is the first time I’ve seen you do this medium I’d like it. I may even try it first two pieces that I really liked was the first one you did and the pink flamingo those are beautiful.

This video reminded me of something I meant to pass on during your recent collaboration; Melina Pylant's last name is pronounced Pilot. Morning Robin! My thought is that the oxides give a more “chalky” look, but I think the regular inks could be used too. I’ll have to try it! Thanks for the good variation! 👍❤
