I discovered this great original sounding band and many others after renting the movie Traces of Death III back in the mid 90’s. I was blown away by the soundtrack of that movie. Bands like Pungent Stench Deceased Exit-13 Core Hypocrisy Benediction Mortician Dead World and many others. That soundtrack to that movie was a big influence in my life and got me to start learning how to play guitar and drums. I stuck with it ever since. I’ll be playing Grindcore, Death Metal, Black Metal, etc until the day I leave this plane of existence as I’m sure the members of Macabre will as well.
I've been privileged enough to hear the entire new album, and I'm going to say what I've said before: This will be the best Macabre album of all time! There are songs on there that will stick in your head for the rest of your life. I don't know if I'm allowed to name the song so I'll just say, there's a song about a fat man that dressed as a clown, and that song is one you will want to play again and again, it's so good! Macabre is the pride of Chicago metal!!!

I got the permission to give the title to the song, so it's called "There's a BBQ at John Gacey's House". And there's one on Bundy for all the ones that love the good old nursery rhyme stuff.
