@@idkyaface4659 For Gold, either choice works well. For Platinum, there're several things to consider, such as weapons, gear, team compo and enemy factions. Essentially, if you pick the electric sword, you'll need to find a way to deal with amor, and vice versa.
This build is melee in extreme to support Shadow Strike. Therefore, the gun isn't at its strongest. I chose Wraith in this run because it's one of the lightest shotguns, so the power cooldown is good, and I can attach the melee mod on the gun as shotguns offer the highest melee boost among all types of weapons.
The Wraith indeed is one of the best shotguns in the game and is THE best for a melee build. I may add that the fact that it's not affected by the weight penalty, which applies only on optional DLC weapons, makes it the go-to weapon for hand-to-hand combat. Of course, one can choose the Disciple, which is the lightest shotgun in the game, allowing near-minimum cooldown, but its measly damage output makes it useless when it comes to suppressing fire, so the Wraith gets the favor by allowing similar cooldown, but offering far greater firepower.

This build is noice. Any particular reason for the Wraith, though? I'm not fan of it in ME3.
