    Great vids! Looks fun! Love hard enduro!! Ok get a combo pipe guard like ptech makes for 200 rr’s. . Or whatever comparable combo guard for uour bike. No problems no pipes smashed or bent back at the neck.You'll save money and not need to fix a broken bike. Or.. get a burly aluminum skid plate and you make or get someone to make a custom pipe cage guard. It’s super common with Hawai’i riders or other hard enduro places around the world. A bunch have em here . Im running a ptech for my 300 . You won’t ever break or smash your pipe. Get a front and rear brake disc guard. Going in boulders and rock gardens and you just don’t need to worry about bending your disc or breaking.

    I ride a 2018 xc and also a beta trials bike. When I took a buddies 200 for a ride I just couldn't get past the how much less the handle bars will turn. The engine is a marvel though.

    I use enduro engineering skid plate on my ktm 85sx big wheel. I recommend to put polisport universal exhaust guard (armadillo) for your exhaust, i make research that its good. I'll purchase it soon on ebay. Anyway..keep on riding strong

    Pipe guards are not smart to run. The pipe is designed to dent and bend instead of putting 100% of the forces into the exhaust flange. The pipe guards themselves cost nearly as much as a new pipe anyway. There is absolutely no reason what so ever to run a pipe guard other than for looks if that's the look you're going for.

    I ride similar, a trials bike and very tight, steep, terrain. You may be the first person who can tell me why the 200 over a 300? Weight, torque and agility are paramount for the riding I do but I need to change up from the trials bike. Speed is never a factor. Nice vid, cheers.

    • @MattSpears
      @MattSpears  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I chose the 200 because it's different. The 200 is in a little smaller frame than the 250/300. It's hard to beat the fun factor of this 200 but 300's rule the tight gnarly terrain! You know how big bore trials bikes are a little easier to ride than a 125 trials bike, but they can get out of hand pretty quick. That's the difference between the 200 and 300👍

    • @The1jball
      @The1jball 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Matt Spears I’ve seen that it’s a smaller frame but reading specs, it doesn’t seem much different. Does it feel smaller riding? I’m a shorty..
