Did you know that what we know as congregational prayer today is what should be known as the prayer of agreement?
Unsurprisingly, the only platform on which we can reach agreement with other believers in order to pray effectively is the word of God! Yes, the word of God.
It might surprise you to know from this episode that believers who have doctrinal differences have no business praying together because otherwise they may find themselves forfeiting the promise that Christ made in Matthew 18:19 which says,
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
Hence, this episode teaches that for you to experience the promise of what you have asked in prayer to be done you must have found a basis in God's word and your prayer partners must agree on the same grounds.
Lastly, we wish to caution that, the purpose of the prayer of agreement is not to annul the basic truths that,
"You don't always need people to join you in prayer to get results"

"God is the most important personality in prayer."
