What you don’t know and what poker players don’t tell us, is once you make it pro, you get investment from the mega rich, so they will back by a stake from you and give money to enter into tournaments or cash games. Dnegs still does it, you can buy a stake off him before he enters tournaments. Plus they get a hell of a lot from advertising and wearing brand clothing once on camera. But yes, if he carries on he will eventually go broke but I would say 50% of the money comes from advertisement and people investing in him.
It seems like a lot of people are very naive in thinking someone like rampage can lose a million dollars. And he’s chasing too so it’s only going to get worse. Do you really think he would react the way he did if it didn’t hurt his soul? Let’s be real a ton of poker players end up broke. It’s the nature of gambling.
