This is probably one of the more traditional asmr doctor roleplays I’ve made for some time - lots of medical triggers from a very professional British doctor; including follow the light, breathing exercises, my rumbling tummy (lol), as well as a much faster pace than I’d usually adopt - oh, and lots and lots of relaxing hand movements too.
I’ve found that you can elicit a more mellowing ASMR atmosphere if you start fast and gradually slow down over time, as well as have a professional figure who ‘just gets on with it’ and knows what they’re doing, if that makes sense? I kinda tried it in my Rasputin video years ago, but figured I’d give it a go again. Anyway, enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

Watching this as a disabled person in the US as a means of escapism
I am like you too here in the US. I have had bad experiences at the Doctor's(male and female),so these are perfect for me. Over the past 5 years my health has gotten worse and especially the past couple years have been the worst. Now,I am blessed to have a loving person in my life who will help me as my health gets worse. He told me if he had known where I was during my surgeries(the last almost killed me due to an infection)he would have been there to hold my hand and hold me to him. Since December,I have had 1 procedure and 2 surgeries going through them without any family or friends to comfort me afterwards in recovery. I was terrified I would die with no one caring about it. Every doctor I have had that wasn't completely American has been great with me. Very few of the American doctors have been good to me. In other words,these role plays are excellent for me. Keep up the good work and be safe for yourself mostly and us too.

The progressive slowing down of the triggers is a really nice idea, like setting us for a more relaxed mood to sleep
I love that this doctor isnt only a family doctor but also an optometrist and a dentist. Talk about talented.

I kept waiting for him to maybe turn out to be a bad person kidnapping us or something, saying "couldn't you tell something was up when I made you do all those non medical related exercises?"

Uncomfortable with Jim in charge? Never! Though if we're going by British people and not wanting to trouble a doctor unless something akin to a limb is falling off I'm concerned what I've come for 😆

Normally when one of Jim's characters says to relax and don't worry, I immediately tense up and worry. 🤣🤣
This was a really great experience. I love that the doctor apologized for the traffic, so perfectly polite. I've employed the muscle tense/relax technique to help me sleep on occasion and it was nice to see it used here. Did anyone else find it hard to concentrate on anything but his eyes? (Sorry, had to ask). I only wish the doctors here were as attentive and polite. Thank you, Jim, for the awesome experience and looking forward to more. Also, I want to give a wave👋👋 to the rest of your team, awesome job! I realize that this comment is kind of disjointed, but my mind is all over the place right now.
I know it’s ASMR, but it truly does inspire me to be this caring and empathetic whilst training and when I graduate 🥺

Subscribed and looped this video for 3 hours already, it does bring my consciousness to a level of watching my triggers with help or healing, after two hours came to feel the need of re-building trust and then to define my career by it hence it's much more yet to work with as if an endless tunnel of energy exists bound to give to it's many more destines, a work of endless productive healing. So, thank you, you're on my fav list to trust on caring people, we need more.

You really lose your patience with us a couple of times during our exam, In real life I might start to cry, or get really defensive and purposely try to frustrate you all the mor, or maybe both.
