Yes Joe!! That is why I watch the matching making special because I like to see the WHY what made them put these 2 people together. All of these folks got what they asked for in regards to physical or personality traits, or financially! They specifically asked Madison about attraction, and she said she would push through, they lined up David as a hard worker and the light skin, black guy with tattoos that she asked for! These folks interview well to get on the show and then show how they were not ready for marriage!
I don’t have a lot to say, but seeing Madison with her hair pulled back during that date they had made me think of the little gizmo from Gremlins. The nerve of her sister to do everything but call Allen ugly. They actually match up well aesthetically. Also, that was me that gave the shoutout for your fairness! ☺️ Read EVERYBODY!
@@joeandzarVery much so! Madison, David’s choice (forgot her name because I don’t respect her enough to remember nor go find it), and that “good person” from the other season are all the same brand of entitled white woman. Not buying anything they’re selling.
I ended up liking Juan so much more after this episode. I liked how he communicated honestly. He was mature and took the lead. On the Afterparty, he apologized & acknowledged how mean the 'forgot about you' comment was.
Oh my goodness, your reviews are so spot on! Love your insight, wit, cohesiveness and intellect. Just the reviews I look forward to listening to. Please continue in these TH-cam streets!😂
I really love y’all. I will say the concept of “there’s an epidemic going on with women” is sort of minimizing the issue though IMO EVERYONE is capable of being a harm doer regardless of gender. Women acting badly is not a result of fighting back. It’s just being a human. When we break it down like “men are acting worse” or women are acting worse. We’re ignoring that we all can improve in the way we treat each other. Cliff notes- when we say men have to do better, it’s because we understand that society has let men down when it comes to emotional vulnerability (as you mentioned) it’s not about saying “women can do no wrong” because that’s not realistic. Just some thoughts, thanks for adding your opinions to the pot.
Zar, you really gave a "mom moment" with Camille, tearing her up and then saying, but i still love you, come give me a hug! It's a woman thing, I do it to my son all the time lol
Love languages change as you get older and with life. Like, now having my son, acts of kindness is love for me cause it helps me and i don't have a lot of time for quality time and physical touch as before.
Yes they definitely do evolve & i think as they do apart of that evolution is realizing the value in all of it …understanding that the lack there of, can create an imbalance in your relationship.
Zar, dress barns finest!! 😂😂😂 Madison is definitely shopping on Shein with the rest of us!! She really thinks she is giving couture red bottoms and purple labels!!
Joe, Twitter tearing Madison up with her "nice nasty" comments!! I was done when she cracked on him at the table with everyone and calling his outfits "super market clothes" i was like, nobody heard that, we just gon laugh and let that ride?! She not outwardly rude like Michelle but for her to get back to Chicago, sit on the couch and tell Allen to his face, you don't take care of yourself and your style of clothes are a bit much!! She really thinks too highly of herself
I think Camille and Thomas both being biracial deal with that complex of "not black enough or too white" Camille grew up around her black family where Thomas, being adopted did not. And as y'all mentioned, she didn't take any of that into account. She really, didn't know how to explain that she thinks Thomas is "lame" and lacking "take charge" confidence and assertiveness, and that she was looking for that "aggressive masculinity" that those "city boys" was giving her. To sum it up, poor baby not use to the nice guys, that treat her with kindness and respect
Thomas is a good looking man with a great body. Camille's body, not so much though she does seem like a good girl. I'm just saying, she needs to appreciate that man!
Zar, high key i thought the same about Camille i would look at Thomas and see a light skin black man before I look at her and see a black lady! 🤷🏾♀️ but i dont want to give her too much cause i still like her!
This is my first time watching one of your reviews. It was very insightful. As far as not being Black enough: I was Black enough for certain people calling me the "N-word" left and right, and gangs of them trying to attack me all the time. I was Black enough for cops to pull me over for no reason. I was Black enough for people to follow me all around stores so that I wouldn't shop lift. I was Black enough for bank tellers to act like I was trying to steal money when I wanted to withdraw money. People need to stop the nonsense.
Thomas is handsome and nicely put together! Now, Camille got her clean cut guy she asked for! Her younger 32 age showed with that comment of basically wanting a "city boy" with swag! She made up for it in the episode and on Afterparty saying she wasn't use to a Thomas type of guy and that she remember what she signed up for on the show in wanting something new!
Y'all I went back to the Kickoff special and they had Ashley and Anthony (S5 Chicago, they are still married 2 kids in now ❤) on there and they both said seems like the new couples come on here not ready to give their partners a chance, they are quick to say, no, this is not going to work, I don't like that, no!! It is so true, they sign up for this show but not willing to push through and get over themselves
Thomas is the one who asked for a “bi-racial” woman (specifically), from which one can infer that he didn’t want a stranger wife who was “too dark”. At least Camille is upfront about it. And lighted skinned bi-racial woman are often attracted to darker skinned men. Like it’s their “pass” or something.
Women have become more empowered. We are CEOs running businesses making the 6 figures, so far from our mothers, grandmother's generation. To me, the issue is we are leaning SO MUCH into our masculinity that we feel we can say and do whatever to these men, and they are just supposed to take it. We want to show and prove that we are not like our previous generations and that we are not taking "less than" in these men and that they need to rise to our standards and what we want because for so long, we have been the ones changing for them. That's what I see with these women, like Madison and Michelle (i wont dive into the deep rooted racial aspect with them). And too be clear, i am not saying, the amazing come up for us as women is a bad thing AT ALL!! I just think feminity and softness have been lost in translation. Also, everyone needs to be held accountable for their actions, man or woman. We can't say she is the woman, so it is ok, no, bad behavior is bad behavior, period!
When did Juan apologize (outside the After Party)? Did I miss it? Maybe the Mexico apology is on the cutting room floor because I didn't see it...? Is it me?
Ike is bringing up good conversations and topics but.... i still dont get the feels from them. I really think, he is fake and putting on for the cameras 🤷🏾♀️
Totally agree… he says the ‘right’ things but there is nothing behind it. He comes off so fake. Juan is so much more real with his wording mistake with Carla. Ike would never say something like that because he stays on guard and is acting for the cameras

She literally asked for him! We thought the same thing
I don’t have a lot to say, but seeing Madison with her hair pulled back during that date they had made me think of the little gizmo from Gremlins. The nerve of her sister to do everything but call Allen ugly. They actually match up well aesthetically.

😂 100%! watching her treatment of him is so frustrating
@@joeandzarVery much so! Madison, David’s choice (forgot her name because I don’t respect her enough to remember nor go find it), and that “good person” from the other season are all the same brand of entitled white woman. Not buying anything they’re selling.
I was MAD about that too, y'all, when she went to put that purple shirt sleep dress on!! She was wearing cuter pj's before that!!
I ended up liking Juan so much more after this episode. I liked how he communicated honestly. He was mature and took the lead. On the Afterparty, he apologized & acknowledged how mean the 'forgot about you' comment was.
Yes, he did handle it well!
This convo yall had was so good
thank you! and thanks for joining us!
Oh my goodness, your reviews are so spot on! Love your insight, wit, cohesiveness and intellect. Just the reviews I look forward to listening to. Please continue in these TH-cam streets!😂
Aw Thank You and Thanks for Joining us!
Love your hair Zar.
Thank you!
Michelle is about to make David's life a living hell at the apartment. I'm so afraid for him.
100% nervous for him!
She is... and then will later pull the "wife" card in the previews!! She crazy!

When you say “minimizing the issue” what do you think the issue is?…and Thanks for your thoughts!
Yall are preaching to the ladies. Got me, Camille, and Michelle right on together!
😂 I need to do better than what I'm doing too.
I am tired of yelling at yall 😂
Zar, you really gave a "mom moment" with Camille, tearing her up and then saying, but i still love you, come give me a hug! It's a woman thing, I do it to my son all the time lol
Chile they are wearing me out

You know exactly what I am talking about
Agreed Joe, cause they tore Clint apart when he said his preference of "thinner ladies" to Gina in S15 Nashville season
Keep the same energy!!
Exactly Jenn!
They didn't realize Gina had torn Clint up with the "I'm not usually into Gingerrrrrry feechures" comment in private.
Great review. Have a happy Thanksgiving 😊
Thank You Happy Thanksgiving To You !

Great reviews! I enjoying hearing you both.

Like just tell the man that you want him to take charge, don't question his identity
@joeandzar exactly!!
Thomas is a good looking man with a great body. Camille's body, not so much though she does seem like a good girl. I'm just saying, she needs to appreciate that man!
First time listener. Enjoyed the convo. Married 17 years and these folks are not ready. Me me me. No compromise. Then stay single.
Stay single! I couldn't agree more
Zar, high key i thought the same about Camille i would look at Thomas and see a light skin black man before I look at her and see a black lady! 🤷🏾♀️ but i dont want to give her too much cause i still like her!
She is my gf in my head. I just had to get her together today
I love you guys and your perspectives ❤
We love you back! Thank you for watching
Producers DEFINITELY got Michelle together!! She put on half a smile and got in the water! Michelle needs therapy and anxiety medication.
She desperately need medical attention
This is my first time watching one of your reviews. It was very insightful.

This!!!!

The emotional abuse was Chris in season 12 Atlanta and how he acted toward Paige (who is engaged and has a beautiful baby girl!)
Yessss!!!
THAT MATTERS NOT! He didn't tell this woman to her face she isn't black or white enough. You don't see how that is actually different?
Women have become more empowered. We are CEOs running businesses making the 6 figures, so far from our mothers, grandmother's generation. This is actually a masculinity issue and I just think women can be matter of factly and also nice
When did Juan apologize (outside the After Party)?
Did I miss it?
Maybe the Mexico apology is on the cutting room floor because I didn't see it...?
Is it me?
Didn't he say it when they were addressing it in the room? Or did we assume thats what he meant and he never actually apologized?
Ike is bringing up good conversations and topics but.... i still dont get the feels from them. I really think, he is fake and putting on for the cameras 🤷🏾♀️
How do we pin this ?
@joeandzar not sure, but hope y'all pin it cause I know i can't be the only one that feels this way!
