Disney destroyed Luke Skywalkers Saga. We waited for Mark Hamill to age, so he could be a hero like Obi wan Kenobi and they did not use him.
Waited too long. The real sequels should’ve been made in the 90’s when Harrison, Carrie and Mark were 10-15 years older. Not senior citizens that are hobbling around.
George destroyed the Luke Skywalker saga.

The original script given to Mark Hammil was called the Adventures Of Luke Starkiller: The Star Wars.
The original theatrical title was Star Wars (now Episode IV, no New Hope).
And then this 70 year old weeble wobble expects us to believe that all along it was the story of the redemption of Anakin Skywalker.
Despite never being mentioned once in RotJ, Ewok was a household name. It wasn't a movie, it was a 90 minute commercial.
Lucas is the reason, not Disney. Disney just wrung the life out of it.

I went from being a massive fan to watching this buffoon tear apart my favorite franchise. As if RotJ wasn't bad enough, the special editions were a slap in the face to the true fans.
For two, it's all available information out there.
It's not hard to watch the prequel, listen to midifreakingchlorians and realize that it was Lucas himself who took the mystique out of the force.

Dave Filoni, Sam Whitwer, even John Favreau should have been given the keys to the car before the sequels started. A giant lost opportunity to say the least.

He may have signed "Non disparagement clause" when he sold Lucasfilm to Disney. but I don't think Disney would sue him, because that would look REAL BAD in people's eyes. Disney will be perceived as the most evil corporation if Disney sues George Lucas for breaking non disparagement clause.
We sense in his voice a lot of sorrow that he is saddened by what Disney did to him while not respecting his ideas... I miss him and what I would have given for his vision completed with his Sequel Trilogy

To be fair Lucas never understood the force either, in almost every single movie he made he changed or added bits and pieces to the force to flesh it out more. The basic idea stayed the same throughout, but the abilities we saw were always changing.
The fact that you have to have a certain number of mediclorians to be trained doesn't change the fact that anyone can use the force. I don't see where he contradicted himself in any way or didn't understand the force

In case you are wondering what he is talking about, Lucas is talking about his original sequel plans which he seems to have always been upset never was used. And judging by how terrible the ideas were, it's for the best. He actually said the sequels and recent projects are good and he's proud of them though he admits just like kids it hurts to see them move on and go away from you.
I would definitely prefer something original, even if bold, instead of souless fanservice OT reboot.
