    Dying to visit Harris. Amazing what you find. Makes you wonder what happened there. Eerie video. Great photos as usual. Imagine you have a house on the coast at Harris and you just leave it to ruin. I’m baffled. Good to see you back up there. Hope there’s more adventures to come. atb Stephen

      Thanks Andy.
      There are so many there, I think basically their livelihood disappeared.
      But now there are new Scandinavian style places being built.
      Wouldn't mind one of them.
      Hopefully will be knocking a few more videos out. I spent 2 days on. Harris and about 5 on Skye.

    Looks a great place to visit and log all those abandoned houses but what i found amazing were those small personnel items that have just been left behind such as the items in that bathroom. Really like the detail that you have captured in the photos.

      Spot on Doug, although the soap on the sink looked dodgy. the razors were probably sharper than mine. Anyway looking to go back to Skye in spring, are you up for it? ive got unfinished busyness.

    My Family name is HARRIS, my Grandfathers people boarded from Dublin Ireland,,, thats all I know.Are we Scotts or Irish??? Maybe a DNA test will tell me where my living Family is there.

      Not many, One side is fertile the other rocky.
