There were only about 10 people in the first show on the 18th near me. It was sad and very quiet. I took my light stick and some other stuff but never even pulled it out. I thought the movie was great. There were a few sighs (like at the end with the hair stylist), and claps throughout, but not much more. I was super happy to hear the comments from their in-house choreographer (not the right title); the one that went to the States with JK when he was a trainee for dance training! Also, the comments from P-Dogg. Those really made me happy! My daughter was with me (a non-fan of BTS so far), and she shushed me a few times because she thought my explaining things to her would annoy others nearby. I taught her Borahae in the beginning, and she said it out loud before the show started and the lady in front of us chuckled a little. Anyway, my daughter also enjoyed it more than she thought she would, so I was happy about that. I may try and go again to a bit later viewing on the weekend and see if the participation is any better. You're right, Jung Kook deserves so much more!!
I’m so happy that you enjoyed the movie with your daughter! ☺️ I felt the exact same way with the parts of the movie that you mentioned, especially the scene at the end with the hair stylist!! 🥹 I’m sorry that you also had to experience the lack of audience engagement. I’m really curious to know why this is happening…I mean, come on, it’s JUNGKOOK. It’s always more exciting to watch with an energetic group - seeing all the light sticks go on and hearing the viewers cheering. I hope you’ll end up watching it again! Maybe the audience will be more engaged this time around..? 😬🤞🏻
I wouldn’t say or disappointed that the people who attended were low key or quiet. To me this movie is different type of movie than D-Day. ‘I Am Still’ is more of a documentary and goes much more in depth into JK’s thoughts and feelings during JK’s solo debut journey whereas D-Day was more of a concert experience. Yes, D-Day had some behind-the-scene stuff, but I don’t think they were emotionally in depth as JK’s. I’m not saying one is better than the other. I’m just saying each movie had a different purpose. I feel that was the artists’ choice. I think the attendees at ‘I Am Still’ were more engrossed with reading the subtitle or listening to what JK was saying and absorbing what he was feeling at the time. There were heartbreaking moments, but I won’t go through them here since it will spoil for the people who haven’t seen it yet. I thought the movie was very well done. I went through all different emotions throughout the movie. Sometimes it was funny, sometimes it was heartwarming, sometimes it was sad and I wish I could give him a hug and tell him he is doing a great job and everything will be ok. At the end, everyone clapped and had a smile on their faces. I was surprised to see how many armys who were over 40s came to see the movie. I myself is 63 yo army. Overall, I really enjoyed the movie. 💜💜💜
THIS IS NOT A CONCERT TYPE MOVIE, IT IS MUCH DEEPER, PEOPLE HOPE TO GO TO SING, TO SCREAM THINKING IT IS A CONCERT LIKE THAT ONE OF OTHER MEMBERS. A VERY IMPORTANT POINT IS THE DOCUMENTARY IS BASICALLY JUNG KOOK TALKING ABOUT HIS SOLO CAREER AND THIS IS A HOT TOPIC INSIDE ARMY. THAT FANDOM REALLY MOVES FOR THE IDEA OF BTS BEING SEVEN, AND WHEN THEY SEE JUNG KOOK TELLING US HIW MUCH HAPPY HE WAS DURING HIS SOLO JOURNEY, AND SEEING HIM REACHING ALL THAT SUCCESS IS HARD FOR THEM TO ACCEPT IT. HATE AND JEALOUSY TOWARDS JK FROM INSIDE THE FANDOM IS REALLY SCARY. THE DOCUMENTARY IS AMAZING FOR THOSE WHO LOVE JK UNCONDITIONALLY AND REALLY VALUE HIS WORK AS THE BEST SOLOIST OF ASIA. SOLOIST JUNG KOOK IS COMING FOR MORE‼️
He is star of the sky,he is moon,he is shine,he is heaven, he is kind,he is hord worker, loyel, lovely, good Artist, good dancer singer, god always protect him because he is good, kind heart like child innocent beautiful heart he is Cadbury chaklet, very good person,🙌,my god always protect him,he is always shining,no matter how hater's trye hard,he is shining like star,he is Worthy of love 👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🇮🇳
Thank you for the review !! And mostly for exposing fandom's behavior towards JK I can assure you that among them there are alot of haters who came just per curiosity to pick some things to talk about against him, some just to keep on hiding their fake Army mask and don't be exposed, most of Army don't love, apperciate or even respect JK they have always portrated him as just the youngest who can't do anything without his hyungs ,those are sadly facts but his explosive global success was more than a big slap it was the red pill that destroyed their illusions exposed all their tentatives to erase him to belittle him as an artist and as a person it also made them more bitter cause they believed all their lies and couldn't accept the reality: JK is the most popular, most talented, most successful among his group those are not my words those are facts !
Thank you so much for sharing this. Unfortunately, it is a given that with fame comes hate - this has been proven time and time again with various celebrities. As someone who is extremely dedicated to his work, Jungkook does not deserve the hate. We see just how passionate he is with what he does, and he always expresses his love for us ARMY. Just to be fair to those who watched with me, I can neither confirm nor deny that the reason why the audience was so quiet was due to hate. Whatever the reason was for the lack of audience engagement, let’s just continue to support our Golden Maknae the way that we always do. No hate, just love. 💜
Excelent Documentary👏🏻🐰(not film ok), we proud and happy for impact see salling💜"I'M STILL " a Big name from this vivencial, is beautifull, personal, natural, testimonial, emotional, deep , unics moments , reflection etc in Era GOLDEN🤴🏼 , was a hard and apassionate work in time record of Jungkook , big effort ,disciplina, dedication with all your love from fans and real Armies in áll world . 💜THanks Golden maknae, for yours memorys and your excepcional talent, continued shining in industria💜 👁not important hate, false armies, opinions intentional negative ,etc, etc, because we and him ignore. 🤴🏼
Thank you for your review. I was able to go to the other BTS documentaries but unfortunately I was the only one there. JK’s movie is not showing near me. The closest location is over 1 hr away and I don’t have reliable transportation to go see it. I hope they release it on a streaming platform, through Weverse or available on DVD later on. As an ARMY I am happy you and your mom enjoyed the show. Again thank you again for your review.
Hi! From what I remember, he definitely did perform ‘Somebody’, ‘Standing Next to You’, ‘3D’, ‘Seven’, ‘Too Sad to Dance’, and ‘Magic Shop’ - my personal fav 😊💜

I like it when it’s quiet cuz I want to watch and listen to Jungkook not listening to viewers or their cheers . Even Jk can’t hear their screams 😅
We all have our preferences! 😊
