I just got in tune with Robert Glasper about a year ago. I love the way his brilliant band collaborates with so many diverse musicians and vocalists and makes it all brand new!
Imagine a drum and bass remix of this song. How amazing would it be and also the sax. Dafuq? How is my man acting like nothing magical just happened? Also can we please appreciate that keyboard melody .Wow. The whole song is a transcendental moment ✨ 🌟 ✨✨

The Metropole Orchestra is a fabulous outfit. Year after year they play with the cream of the crop of jazz and are sensational every time. How do they fit with Robert Glasper like hand and glove? But they do. A big hand for the musical arranger.

Utterly sublime. From the expert use of the vocoder and the raspiness of the singer's voice (also love the big grin and those lovely big teeth!) to the absolute nonchalance of the saxophonist, who took us to another place with that solo, then sat down like "no big ting dudes, I do better than this every day before lunch!" All this combined with RG's excellence on the keyboard and the exquisite orchestral manoevres, I'm done! Gratitude in abundance RG and crew ❤🎉

Wow that symphony intro was absolutely amazing. I normally don't mind the vocoder stuff too much and I get that its needed for live shows with all of the album features but on this one it really distracts from the amazing sound of the symphony. I would LOVE to get an instrumental version.
Oh I see the vocoder as an addition to instruments! Especially in the hands (live) of Casey here. It is what it is... especially drums btw
