getting mad on the first day about the cream wolf being called a puppy (by multiple people if I recall), literally screaming at the top of his lungs at 59:16 about the potential dead Cookies beneath the mud (which was reasonable), accusing Wildberry of calling him short at 50:54 because Wildberry said that he could see where he was going. there are numerous other examples that I'm forgetting but I think it's sweet that we're seeing a side of him that's really confrontational and loud and, at times, cowardly, I guess?? not so much cowardice and more just...hesitance. I dunno, it's just really awesome to see how dynamic and interesting he is

I think Baumkuchen Cookie is a red herring of sorts. I am also suspicious of Oyster, Custard, Vanilla Sugar and Canelé. Something about Vanilla Sugar’s comments and her quick temper kind of irks me a bit. I also found it odd she jumped to conclusions so quickly when Madeleine and Financier brought up the masked assailants.
talking about how they talked in the last day I can only assume that they are apart of the pastry order. just from another part of the it (one being the shadow sisters etc)
It may be some but I would add to list as a suspicious cookie being the cream archbishop as there is a lot of religion cookies involved from what I can tell

The creme Republic has so much flavor, especially choco mud town, and it being a gravesite for the "lowest-class." Harsh, but is great worldbuilding.
Seaweed cookie is ominously adorable, she has that obsessive best friend energy with espresso cookie. Don't forget your roots, espresso cookie, something tells me you'll be beneath that mud if you do, lol.

To be totally honest, I sorta feel bad for clotted cream. Most people expect so much of him, and given that he is much younger than the rest of the Elders, they probably think he should do even more. Custard cookies controlling nature doesn't give a good first impression on him either. I really hope he doesn't end up taking things too far.
I also feel bad for Light cream cookie (i think das her name) bc she probably knows and feels for all the work that is expected to be done by one cookie. She seems like a nice person, she's clearly looking out for clotted so I suppose that's why she looks so concerned.
So far, this story had alot of twists, which I *love* by the way. Can't wait to finish it off!

Hm you are certainly right. Maybe there might be a turnaround twist and clotted is just being manipulated by the elders. If his beginnings were like this then this endeavour he went on to gain reputation and fame would not be something he would do on his own if he wanted to look better to his society and elders.

Im definitely suspicious of custard cookie. He cares much abt his reputation and will do anything to get it higher than other elders. Them also bring up the fact it could be more than 1 cookie makes me feel like it may be 2 as they wouldn't bring it up unless it was. For me its either canele, oyster, custard, or a group of those.

Headcanon: Custard III says he misses his dad because Custard Cookie abandoned him at a young age since he wasn't good enough for House Custard. Custard Cookie III didn't want to follow their customs so he praticed being king while his father disciplined him to be a representative to his House. Even though Custard Cookie doesn't like his own biological son Custard Cookie III loves his dad since he is very loyal (I belive his dough has some loyalty in it according to Strawberry Crepe Cookie's analysis) , he adopted Clotted Cream Cookie because he was better and did everything Custard Cookie says. (Light Cream was Clotted Creams biological mother but she divorced with some other husband)
But Custard III is younger than Clotted cream, when he was born, C.C had already appeared in Custard’s (father) life.

I use to hate clotted cream for his actions during the council meetings in the vanilla kingdom or chapter 1, but that opinion has changed because of how it seems like he has some family issues. I feel bad honestly, these stories get more interesting as they go. Also seaweed cookie is adorable,I love her.
Edit: did I miss anything from day one because I never heard of them talking about pure vanillas soul stone being returned back into trusted hands, I probably did please tell me if they talked about it. I believe it has been returned though.

The more I see Chapter 2, the more I smile because oh my gosh its all heartwarming. Clotted Cream Cookie's relationship with Custard tho.. it makes you start to feel bad for him, especially since he's the youngest among the elders.

ok so uh. ive been commenting on other cookie odyssey chapter 2 videos and this is basically everything ive said before copy-and-pasted into one comment (keep in mind these were made before i saw the full day so they might be off in some places, in which i will correct):
“WOAH this is getting real interesting
strawberry crepe found no custard in clotted cream’s dough but yet he really is a member of house custard. he referred to custard as “father”, and i’m not sure if that’s just out of respect or if he really does consider custard his dad. what i got from custard’s conversation with light cream (who appears to be clotted cream’s mom), clotted cream was originally a member of house scone but a certain event (likely his appointment as consul) caused him to get switched to house custard, and presented as a relative of pure vanilla/elder custard. and it seems like custard is purposefully keeping light cream from seeing her son (since she’s evidence that he really isn’t from house custard)
this also might explain why custard III is so far away from his family. he likely got kicked out for bringing disrespect upon them. im not sure how he’d disrespect them, but he IS really tiny (likely considered too weak) and he dreams of being a king, and the crème republic has no king (the council also likely associates the word “king” with pure vanilla, and they’ve been shown to not really like the ancients, _especially_ pv)
clotted cream is also attempting to cover up the soul jam almost being stolen, most likely to keep his reputation. he didn’t mention the attack to the elders at all, and the only one who knows is vanilla sugar due to financier and madeleine telling her about it (correction: elder mille-fuelle also knows because she was there when it happened and she was attacked by the cookies in white, but she didn’t mention it either). i know he’s been seeming a lot better here than he did in chapter 1, but i still think it’s VERY sus that he’s been covering up what happened. financier seems to have no idea what he’s doing, seeing as she told vanilla sugar
anyway before this gets really long. HYPE!!!!!
edit: forgot to mention, custard goes after clotted cream’s parents saying that he inherited his mom’s tendency to get over-excited, which is a LLITTTLLEEEE too deep considering clotted likely hasn’t seen his mom in a while. and custard words it specifically as “YOUR parents” which means he is not biologically or legally clotted cream’s dad”
^ another note: poor clotted cream doesn’t object to custard snapping at him at all, meaning he’s used to this. he likely thinks it’s normal

espresso seems to not be getting along with his assistants who are trying to help him with the soul jam (then again, it’s espresso, who belittles everyone around him and threw a tantrum over milk that one time)
so my prediction is that he’ll eventually get fed up and an experiment will go horribly wrong because of that
and now vanilla sugar isn’t the only elder who knows about the attack, sablé (correction: and captain caviar and canellé, or whatever her name was) knows now as well. from what we’ve seen of her so far, she’s really self-centered and probably not really the best person. i honestly think the st. pastry order will attack again at the performance she’s doing
and the introduction of the lower city is VERY interesting. they call the crème republic perfect, with everybody living in it being almost _too_ happy (like that npc in the bg while crunchy chip was talking to sablé), but turns out the poorer people live near the water, and have no money to the point where they live in shacks. and the council didn’t mention this at ALL.
it honestly reminds me of the hunger games, with the rich/fortunate people living in the capitol, and everyone else living in the districts and having their children sentenced to death once every year
considering everyone we’ve seen in the crème republic so far (who isn’t in the lower city) is rich, so im assuming that the republic’s mostly made up of people with LOTS of money, while everyone else lives in the lower city, and are disrespected by the rest of the republic (sablé literally says that only someone of the lower city could try to steal the soul jam)
maybe reverend mother had been a part of the lower city, and founded the st. pastry order in an attempt to feel in control for once/to get revenge on the republic? idk”
“the biggest thing i can take away from here is that the st. pastry order is involved with this, they tried to steal the soul jam, and they are in the crème republic. the clothes of the masked cookies all heavily resemble the st. pastry order’s dress code, which means pastry cookie is most likely going to appear either in this chapter, in chapter 3, or in a later episode. gingerbrave questioned the identity of one of the masked cookies, which implies it’s a character we already know (most stories will do this; it’s called the chekhov’s gun principle. everything that is mentioned will have something to do with the story), and there’s only one character we already know who’s affiliated with the st. pastry order
although that still leaves the question of why the st. pastry order is trying to get the soul jam in the first place. the dialogue implies that their goal is to “purify” the world and rid it of non-believers, or simply just take the entire world for themselves and recruit them all into the cult
my personal guess is that one of the masked cookies is pastry cookie, and that she’ll escape and tell the truth about how white lily became dark enchantress, and why the cookies were made, because she, gingerbrave’s main party, and dark enchantress’ followers are the only ones who know right now”
other things i want to add:
• it’s so cool that espresso grew up in the lower city!!!! and the way he thinks of it as if it’s normal, and brushes off crunchy chip/wildberry freaking out. it somewhat explains his hatred towards madeleine (espresso hates everyone, but he _especially_ doesn’t like madeleine) because madeleine was born rich, he grew up rich, he was constantly spoiled by his mom/aunts, and he didn’t have to work for his position at all. while espresso had to fight tooth and nail to get where he is now
• seaweed cookie is absolutely AWESOME i love them so much!!!! i was NOT expecting this game to pull a joke like them walking over dead bodies lol. that was a terrifying twist. seaweed’s just so awesome, and their past with espresso is super interesting, since he grew up with them
• ESPRESSO’S LANDLORD COMING OVER WAS SO FUNNY!!!!
• orphan cookie 1 has clothing similar to the st. pastry order’s clothing, so im wondering if she’s a part of it
• light cream going to madeleine and espresso’s ceremony to try to find clotted cream, but missing it, and grand madeleine telling her she knows how she feels and inviting her over for tea,,, MY HEART IS CRYING 😭
Finally, someone who realises that Custard Cookie may not be Clotted Cream's actual father
@@meh3629 the wiki says that clotted cream used to be a member of house scone, and his mom light cream was a noble lady of it, but house scone eventually fell and light cream made a sacrifice for her son’s future by selling him to house custard, at the expense of her and her family being separated from him forever
custard also apparently insults and belittles clotted cream’s biological family whenever he messes up even the smallest thing

This is the information I have gathered. House Scones is originally Clotted Cream's family if I'm correct. I believe that Light Cream Cookie was exiled from the house. And here is the information more intact to the current situation. Oyster Cookie, who hasn't witnessed the power of the Soul Jam, craved for power. Similar to the issue with White Lily Cookie. As of an easter egg, her soldiers in her skill have the same exact emblem, as what the ambush cookies had in their masks. Clotted Cream's conversation with her solidifies my proof that she is craving power.

When the white-masked cookies' weapons are leaked, they are called the st. order's weapons. I wouldn't be surprised if they are the sisters from the order. And the cookie on the last ch. 1 is shadow sister cookie. The one that willing to "wipe out" pastry cookie if she tells anybody the truth of the tower of sweet chaos. Ngl, i suspect that the missionary cookie is pastry cookie before she got rebaked, but who knows.

Okay during the talk with Elder Custard and Clotted Cream I swear it made me want to strangle Custard, he expects literal absolute perfection of Clotted Cream, and the second he says the soul jam almost got stolen by, presumably Pastry's church members Custard doesn't give a flipping heck about Clotted Cream, and o ly yells at him for "not calculating that while on their way back" and saying that the time he spent in the Vanilla Kingdom made him sloppy, in which father into their conversation he said its not from traveling, his sloppiness is from his parents. And the conversation Custard had with Clotted Creams mom could be a whole rant itself, honestly I trust everyone in the Council and this story except for elder Custard, and it's funny how we didn't trust Clotted Cream at first huh? How the tables turn.
Also I feel so bad cause if Epder Custard really is Custard Cookie III's dad then his dad sucks.

@@Aquatic25 It was to keep them safe during transport on the airship presumably, also in day 1 after they finished battling the sugar golem Clotted Cream thought how it was weird and then realized the golem was a decoy to get them away from the soul jam, plus it was stated many times that the republic is supposed to be a safe haven for cookies there so I highly doubt Clotted Cream would know, especially from his reaction
