Wonderful tutorial and beautiful results! I do think there should be a note of caution about removing the glaze from the bottom of your bowl though. You removed it by scraping it off dry, thus creating dust. Glaze dust/powdered glaze should be handled with the correct precautions (most potters wear a respirator while mixing dry glazes) but you can avoid this completely by sponging it off instead of scraping it dry or waxing the bottom of the piece before dipping.
This is truly so soothing to watch, sit down and relax and watching what kind of magic you can create :) I have been a fan of ceramics myself and was thinking about giving it a shot from time to time, but will see :) thank you for sharing these videos with us and keep up the lovely work. All the best to you.
Muchas gracias

So if I want to make a simple plate and use my small kiln can you tell me what to purchase? I want to just make a basic ring plate dish for my daughter for valentines day. Can you list the firing schedule to use also? I do glass fusing but no idea about the clay. If i had a beginning idea of the steps and temps. Thank you love watching the videos. :)

You can paint the piece before the first firing (bisque firing) or right before glazing it!
