- Netizens are mocking Blackpink's Jennie for her walk. Recently, Jennie made her runway debut at the Jacquemus 2024 “La Casa” fashion show in Italy. Fans couldn’t hide their shock when, at the end of the Jacquemus show, Jennie made her way down the runway in a beautiful black halterneck dress that rocked the side-boob trend with the elegant ensemble and Her hair pinned up. Jennie's fans were impressed with her model walk and think she did a great job considering it was her first time. On the other hand, online critics mocked Jennie for her alleged 'embarassing' walk. They made mocking comments like, "Jennie is walking like a duck; she might break her back while trying so hard to fit in with the models, someone atleast should have taught her how to walk decently," and, "Jennie can't sing, dance, act, or even model." Yeah, she can’t do it right cause modelling is a job, leave that to the models. She can stick to being an idol and she’s great at it, she’s a world star now and I’m also proud. Even her acting in the idol was bad. You cannot say "leave her alone it’s her first time" for something that models and actors stand long lines and gives hundreds of audition for.

no she doesn't look completely hideous when walking but she doesn't walk how professional models walk and her spot could've been filled by someone who's spent their entire life learning to become a model including perfecting their walk. like seriously there's probably many training models who've never walked on runway but have a better walk than jennie. i respect jennie's modeling in photoshoots but runway isn't for her.
yep, she is a good idol and good at commercials, but runway is not for her (at least right now), she can learn and be good at given her time and training, but put her right now as a show finale was a mistake.
I don't think you understand why she was on the run way. She's an ambassador for the company she was only doing the walk to get the show more media attention so yes her spot could have been filled by someone else but it wouldn't be beneficial to the company at all. Jennie is famous, and they needed someone famous. So she definitely had a part to play in this show.
