I've always thought that Andrews version of Peter Parker has it worse than the others. He still very much feels the loss of his parents throughout both movies. He doesn't have any friends because his old friend is overseas. He lost Uncle Ben, finally got a good relationship with Gwen's dad and he died in front of him. His friend Harry comes back suddenly but betrays him without a second thought and tries to kill him which resulted in Gwen dying. Yes, Tom's Peter Parker technically lost everyone but his friend and girlfriend are still alive. If he wants to see them he can just simply go and see them. Andrew's Peter can't and something tells me seeing someone in the flesh and bone is a whole lot more happier than seeing someone from a picture knowing there gone. Also, to add onto the fact that he still feels the loss of his parents he finds out his parents were betrayed and they were killed on purpose.
