When for 25 years his been putting out classic’s and his music just keeps getting better!!! I wouldn’t call that toxic. Eminem has shown strength of character throughout his entire career. When he was on the drugs...he went off the rails for a bit. But he picked himself and has stayed sober since then! Eminem is one of the few...that made it through the addiction. He took time off for a few years and spent time with his family! He's always been a hard worker before he had a career and after. From what I've seen....he's a loyal friend and great Dad! He never had his real daughters in his videos. The only time you see his daughters in a video ....was when he was watching a family film in song video he did. He has always been very protective of his family...and I dont blame him! After Eminem recovered from drugs...he set limits with work. That way he can spend more time with his family. It took a lot of adjustments to deal with fame...but he got it together in the end! .

    One of the hardest line from Em that hit for real for him.
    “I hear applause, all this time I couldn’t see, how could it be that’s the curtain was closing on me”
    Every show ends with the curtain closing on the audience. Saying the show is over. All this time he thought it was closing on them, but it was the opposite. It was closing on him….

    Another great song like this is "Hailey's song." At first he didn't want to release it because he feels like he can't sing and it's a personal song to her.
    2 women who worked at Interscope cried listening to it and that made him feel it was good enough to put on his album.

    8-mile is autobiographically-based, so you'll find it interesting. It literally shows his entire come-up.

    • @Britton_Thompson
      @Britton_Thompson 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, it doesn't show the "entire" come up. There were a lot of starts and stops along the way that 8 Mile didn't get into. The story of 8 Mile is really only just Eminem finally being embraced enough by the black hip hop scene in Detroit to at least be given a chance by then whenever he got onstage. That movie is really about his struggle to cross the racial barrier in 1990s Detroit since 8 Mile Road is considered the line of demarcation for black and white communities in Detroit. Eminem isn't actually from 8 Mile itself. He's from 7 Mile Road on the East Side- which is the White side of town. None of the D12 guys are from 8 Mile either. They were from somewhere around 11 Mile Road and beyond. 8 Mile is just the story of the border he had to cross in order to start earning respect as a White rapper.
      The movie is basically about him demonstrating his talent and determination enough to at least be given a chance when he got onstage because in real life he wasn't. The first 4 times he tried to participate in the rap battles the all-black crowds would just boo him relentlessnessly and not even give him a chance. The movie had him choke at the beginning in order to give him a journey to go on, and an obstacle to overcome by the end. The real story wasn't that simple and linear. In real life, they just didn't want to hear anything he had to say because he was White. He spent a long time just treading water before anyone took him seriously.
      It's not the entire come-up, but the start of it. That's why after winning the final rap battle, he doesn't celebrate with his friends afterwards. It ends with him going back to the factory. It's his realization that he's only just starting on the right path to attaining his dreams. He'll have to do it alone, it'll take a lot of hard work, and he'll have to honor his promises whenever he asks for favors along the way (I.E., actually returning to work to relieve the guy he asked to cover his shift long enough to battle Papa Doc).
      8 Mile is really just Chapter 1 in his come-up.

      @@Britton_Thompson I’m from detroit and you legit have zero clue about who is from where and what side of town has who in it because everything you said is wrong.
      Eminem lived on Dresden street east of Hoover between 8 and 7 mile. 5-6 blocks west on the other side of Hoover is Runyon Avenue, which is where D12 and Proof was from. That isn’t “the white part of town.” It’s literally less than 2% white. The only person from “11 mile rd or something” is Royce, who is from Oak Park which borders the northwest side of the city from 8 mile north to 11 mile road from Livernois and west.

      Sadly people don't give the man, the respect he deserves. But he got fans like us who back him through thick and thin.
      It's good to see there's people out there who appreciates the Real rappers who still in the game

    Reddit: "Did Em cast own child in this video?" No, they're all actresses there have been several. Only real appearance is in Mockingbird showing her as a baby.
