      I feel like at some point in this channel's future, Will needs to make one for just that reason. it would be heavy and unwieldy as all hell, but it would be a fun build

      I actually prefer him alone, I always felt like Alec's personality sort of overshadowed Will's a lot. Here he at least gets a chance to breathe a bit and does things in his style.

    love the work, Thats a lovely base, Welding a thread bar to a bar vs cutting threads on one bar., not the same but made me think of the Hyatt Regency collapse , a tragic but important engineering lesson. where are loads distributed. great video.

    Will, if you have to drill holes like that, buy a ship auger drill bit of the correct diameter, makes it a lot easier. can be found in the drill section or over in the electrical tools area of most hardware stores.

    With your keys for the machine is very beneficial to heat them up with the torch and get some beeswax and rub it on your keys it keeps them from rusting plus sticking as much they will stay in place but it is easier to remove them
