I was there, although pretty out of it by this point in the night. To that dude who said he was watching Primus, I remember there was rain during the headlining sets which pushed everything back. We stood around in three inches of mud and much and bodily fluids waiting and waiting for Primus to come out, and when they finally did, Les said the delay was cuz he was over at the mainstage watching The Dead who got pushed back. While I was still able to walk, we stumbled to the Ween show and my life was changed forever.
I left this Ween set early to get to Primus only to stand in shin deep mud for an hour. Annoying I could have seen both. I left Primus early because I was fucking wiped.
I was so F***** by this point...but I will never forget this...Went from Galactic, to the dead, to ween...tripping..sooooo hard. yes...the rain delayed everything. but this couldn't have been more perfect time for ween to take the stage...I was winding down from my trip...only took a half a hit...some of the strongest shit I had ever taken...it lasted like 12 hours....the whole place was dosed by this point of the night lol...ill never forget this bonnaroo...my fav of all time. LONG LIVE THE BOOOOOG!
That dancing man is Beatle Bob from St Louis. He’s a local legend. Beatle Bob has seen a live show every night since Dec 1996 and is always front row dancing like he doesn’t give puck 🕺🏻
@@RamenNoodlez258 he’s a really mysterious guy. Always in the front row dancing, doesn’t say much when you try to talk to him. He just acknowledges your presence then keeps on dancing. Then when the show is over he just disappears.
+Andrew Polin True, it's no tour but it's steps in the right direction. I can't get to those shows at this point. If anyone has tickets to either they would be willing to part with though I would for sure start looking for flights!
I made a mistake… i reached out to Bill and Melinda gates because I think they are better to work with… I made a big mistake to not think of them first. I written them and we’ll see if their interested ….. hope is good even if it is a smite possibility… Whenever I fail at smite possibility of anything I just listen to ween and approach goal 🥅 differently after the calm of the ween before and after a storm🎉
I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my TH-cam channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💙❤
Crappy I missed this performance since I was at this mess of a festival...my (2) favorite performers performed at the exact same time!!! I went to PRIMUS on the latenight big stage...
@sbyre888 Aww man I KNOW! I wasn't aware of the epicness of Bonnaroo whatsoever until 2006 (and I didn't go until '07, but haven't missed a year since). However, I absolutely know what you mean. My head would have exploded over the dilemma.
I listen To Ween obsessively. And then not for a few months .. but after the first song back like always they go up against musician in the world.. if given the chance Ween singing a la Tenor Homo 🌈 Rainbow with Bocelli .. would be better without spec of doubt better than Ed Sheeran and Bocellli.. Ween is really really 😊 👍 I comment because I’m serious in what I say! Straight up ween duo Bocelli 🟰🌈
Dude...one of the greatest nights of my life. Been trying to top it for years now. Dead > WEEN > Primus
incredible.
WEEN always made me feel like I was invited to their party. Seen them many times when they were 2...and the whole band many times too.
have a favorite show?
I feel high just watching this. Ween is the best band in existence
milkbby Fuck Yes they are!
You can say that again
May Boognish bless the one who made this. Absolutely epic footage

I was there, and yeah I stood in rain and puke and piss for the dead and hauled ass to ween
Ryan Fisher Primus sucks. Ha ha

people have no idea how hard it was to go back n forth from primus to ween n the dead i loved every min of it
Zoloft was the most commonly prescribed antidepressant in the USA in 2018 with over 38 million prescriptions.
This performance is an example of Ween excelling live on the stage. It sounds better than the original studio take.
Why the hell would you have ween and primus play at the same time. A crime I say, making people choose... cruel!
whats there to chose???
WEEN !
It’s easy... always choose Ween!
True
Well guess what. It's happening again
@@ChiyaQT where?
I love this band so much
Damn, Gener is skinny as hell and probably blowing down but sounds sooooo good.
he was thinner than deaner at this time^
Good to see he’s doing a lot better naoq

Great version of this song that I usually take a leak or get a beer to. Sat for this whole one and I'm supposed to be doing something else. Thanks.
My favourite ween song. I saw them play, was sweet. I would never see primus over them but thats just me.
My favorite Ween song, too. I saw primus this night instead and have regretted it for decades
I just realized I was at this show. Man, Gener still looks young. Time flies.
8 years since your comment wow
@@blobcity3591 holy crap i did not look at the date............

I'll never get to go to a show. I wish I would die.
BRING THIS BAND BACK TOGETHER!
+Pun2404 Ok, they are back together.
I need a US tour! CO isn't enough!
Bam, NY shows and a festival. Don't ever tell me I don't provide results.

I always wanted to know what he said when he was underwater.
Zoloft... I didn't expect this live...
Trippy. I love it.
Thanks for the upload, Todd!
Started taking Zoloft yesterday, first thing I thought when the doctor presribed it to me is that song hahah
Is it doing anything? I have a prescription too but I'm afraid to take something that takes a month to kick in.
I was there...but was watching Primus. I would have loved to be in 2 places that evening.
Why is Glenn wearing a damn potato sack? They should pay him more.
LOL
Its probably a hemp shirt ...dipped in something of course...Maybe guava ? ...I'll get back to ya on that.

Yeah because Doug fucking Stanhope came before Ween.

The Grateful Dead. Not a bad one out there.
@@dysxelicsimucvelor9408 nah i found it: The Dead -- Good Lovin, should be a live from same day somewhere

Not Richard Simmons

The first thing I seen was the pipe in his hand.
Is this from Bonnaroo? Never seen any footage from that. So fucking brown.
