I played high school ball in the early 90’s. I was never anywhere near as good as these guys are. What was good physical football when I played is now a penalty. I was coached to play the way Dan Jackson plays. Come downhill hard, crack skulls, and make them regret crossing the line of scrimmage.

I’ve said it before and ill say it again, beck wasn’t good but he wasn’t the issue with the offense against Texas. The receivers dropped at least 7-9 passes and one lead to a pick. The first pick was more of a great play by Mukuba. The third pick was another miscommunication between Carson and Arian smith just like in the bama game

I agree Targeting calls are ruining football, I think it’s something to be looked at to keep players safe by all means. However, when it is only ever called on defensive players you have to start to question what’s going on. Wide outs, tight ends, and running backs lead with their heads every time, and defensive players are supposed to just take the hit?
I want to know how those refs determined the PI was not the right call? Did another ref say they didn’t believe it was PI and the original ref just say “okay then.” Or did they see it on the big screen and go “oh, my bad.” It’s a bad precedent to set.
