Fatima is right. Full time house wife is a full time job. Ask any guy that works a different shift than their wife. It doesn't take long before you realize it ain't easy. Plus she's the star of my favorite tv show. If I've said it once i'll say it again, you two are doing a hell of a good job at parenting. Maria is amazing, going to school while learning three languages at once and Forest has improved so much since you guys moved to the province. Kudos!

Dude your a good dad my memories shot so I don't remember all the handsome donkey episodes but your family is closer and happier then most if not all the family's I know with over worked parents lazy over spoiled kids and no disrespect to them I know its hard not to get caught up but your next book should be on breaking out of the rat race mentality and parenting I'm a vet and know ,keep it simple so on but never had the guts to live it ,when starting out,thank you and your familybfor sharing your life experiences.

Hey mark, ive been at kandaya beach resort with my wife, my son and one of her sisters. Just want to warn you if you ever bring there the fam... the breakfast is garbage. However the hotel is incredible in terms of landscaping...and you need to move around in golf karts because how big it is... like 10 minute walk just to go the reception... anyways, the worst breakfast in the world between all the 4 and 5 star hotels ive stayed in all of my life
My mom did this to me as a child all the time. Took me to palisades park...I was so excited and all we did was lay out by the salt water pool. She wouldn't even let me go in the water. Think about the disappointment Forest felt after walking through that and not enjoying the prize.
