Well done, Keith, for capturing the key elements of a thoroughly efficient performance by Clitheroe. Good to see Tom Lord scoring runs in style; is Coby Campbell his successor, I wonder?
It is Division 1 and Enfield have been demoted. The profile of the league this year has been 2 sides, Burnley and Darwen, dominating with everyone else, bar Lowerhouse, looking a little bit on the ordinary side with mixed results.
I do think that the legside wide rule is daft. A wide is a ball that's too far from the batter to easily play a shot. A ball on the pads should not be a wide just because the batter steps towards off. (And yes I'm slightly bitter - my daughter is a very good bowler and was wided three times in that fashion in a county match yesterday)
I am of an age that can remember when a leg side delivery wasn't a wide but a legitimate ball. If you are a batsman who is strong on the off but not so good on the leg side, today, that weakness can't be exploited. It doesn't seem totally fair.
Good to see some big hitting again from Tom and the lad at 3 is just an ace up your sleeve.
The young lad @ 3 looks like one hell of a talent! Best of luck to you lad!

Young number 3 looks to have a lot of composure for one of so few years
He looks a real talent, doesn't he?
Is this the premier division or one tier lower, does seem there’s a few too many poor sides, great content much appreciated
