- Wilsons prom hike around the southern circuit. The highlight being the beach hikes and the spectacular views high above the Wilsons promontory lighthouse.

Hi and welcome back to Hike and Seeker channel.
In today's episode, I am hiking Wilsons promontory southern circuit with my eldest son Zack.
It took around three hours by road to reach this southern most part of mainland Australia, from central Melbourne.
It was a three day two night hike. The first day was mainly on wide tracks. The second day was the most spectacular in my opinion. Going from Waterloo bay campsite to Roaring Meg campsite. The variation on the trail was impressive, from walking on deserted beaches to climbing through spectacular forests.
The Waterloo bay campsite was almost on the beach. While Roaring Meg campsite was higher in aspect amongst tall trees. I was very impressed with this hike on the Wilsons prom southern circuit. Hopefully I can come back again when the Northern sections are open and experience more of Wilsons promontory national park.
Stay safe out there on your hikes and I'll see you on the next episode!

Great to see Zack accompanying you on this latest hike, Tony… and what a hike! Brilliant!👏😁
Thank you. There are plans for other hikes in the future.
That looks like a wonderful hike😁
Thanks for the comment. Your right it was a wonderful hike. The availability of water in the forest streams was a bonus.
Was any part of it closed off? (Sorry if I missed that part)
The Northern section has been closed for a while now due to storm damage. I don't live in Victoria so I'm not sure when it will be open again. Thanks for the comment.
