This is the most aetheral cover of Ave Maria. It is just magical and it always lifts my spirit and gives me strenght whenever I need it the most.

may seem a strange choice, for Grimes, since she's not religious, but she simply said she remembered singing it in school, and she liked it (probably the melody). She sings like an "angel" (pun intended), that's for certain.

I guess it's inevitable, and even not necessarily bad. Grimes has grown LOT of recognition with Visions & Art Angels, thus limiting her internet persona. But without this changes in her life we wouldn't have these new, different, unique albums. Yes, you loss dank grimes web stuff, but I think it's 100% worth it for what we already listen, and what we'll be listening in the future. :)

Agreed. Little annoyed the track is ripped off from Miharu's version. But sampling is all the rage these days. Hope she gets the credit she deserves!!!

AlteredSenses Her 4th album is art angels. That's what I was referring to, and also the fact that her voice is so angelic and pure sounding. I'm atheist too and that would not offend me one bit. Some people just go looking for things to get mad about..
There are no such thing as angels ergo 'angelic sounding' is sort of funny coming from other atheists because what do 'angels' sound like. I'm sure the pope doesn't even know no matter what he pretends to know (LOL). I'm not mad about anything, but just call out faulty logic is all. I was just joking anyways, she wouldn't be offended, not more than still having that big tattoo of an ancient torture device on the back of her forearm. ;-p
Referring to angels based on society's idea of what an angel is. It's like if you were to comment on someone looking or acting like a fairy or demon. You don't have to believe that they exist but you have an idea of what characteristics they have.
I mainly commented on Claire's voice because it sounds pretty and clean ( raspy sounds more dark or rock and roll )
Okay, yeah, that makes total sense in that figurative context. I get it now. haha
I concur, she has a very unique voice that she oddly didn't think was very good (she always tried to dial it out on her mixer) ... little did she know that she had it all right from the beginning, making the tracks and having that truly awesome voice. "Pretty and clean," I dig that. :-)
