I have driven that route so many times both north and south, day and night. Notice the nice smooth pavement, it makes doing 95 mph stress free. Thanks for a great trip down memory lane!
@@jamesmassey-cc4ml Yep, that’s central Nevada for you, almost all public land and almost no people lol. Fortunately, US 95 is a major highway in that area (relatively speaking) so there will almost always be someone passing by, so it’s not nearly as risky as some of Nevada’s other desolate roads, like the Extraterrestrial Highway (SR 375).
@@seattlewashington172 Funny enough, there is really only one spot on that stretch of US 95 that is optimal for doing all that: Tonopah, which is where I had to stop in the middle of the video.

@@douglasdowns4846 I’m very glad you enjoyed it! And yes, the road was in impeccable shape!
Really nice and scenic drive. And low traffic.
@@southwestroadtrips That is what I loved the most about it, for sure
I noticed there a long stretch between Medina and Tonopah where there is
nothing’. I’d hate to have a car break down, or a medical emergency.🤔🤔🤔

I wish I can make a trip like this from Bay Area to Reno to Las Vegas to LA and back to Bay Area. Are there any hotels on the route Reno to Las Vegas?
I hope you can realize that wish someday! It is one of the best road trips in the western United States that you can take!
Can you do a LA to Seattle?
@@evseries1 Maybe someday, I have had desires to film the entirety of I-5 in the past, but it is a long and demanding trip.
what a very long drive I would have to stretch my legs and stop for gas and some food
