Sometimes it's hard to accept what your true style is when you admire very much, a completely different style, wish it was you but it just isn't. It's just another aspect of learning self acceptance.

Mi intuición naturalmente me dio este consejo, olvidarme de temas complejos para ser interesante y me puse a pintar cosas comunes que me ponen ha hacer obras y ahí abordar con el gesto y demás arsenal.
Por eso lo importante es seguir explorando. Yo tardé años hasta poder lograr la pintura que hoy realizo. Pinté figurativo, paisajes , modelo vivo, copié a Kandinsky Picasso y otros. Hasta darme cuenta que mi pintura es abstracta.

There is so much freedom in setting limits...you can relax and explore the subject, because you are not spending your energy looking for parameters and worrying if you are crossing them.

Wow, muy interesante. Ya hace un año que he pensado en el mismo tema. Cual es el tamaño con que me identificaría mejor? Pensándolo mucho decidí experimentar con tamaños mediano y luego pequeños. Ahora me doy cuenta que cada tamaño es distinto los límites son también distintos dependiendo de lo que quieres pintar. A mi siempre me ha gustado experimentar diferentes tecnicas, probar diferentes estilo, explorar las posibilidades, pero en el fondo desde hace mucho sé que eso no me llevara a ningún lado, los artistas mas reconocidos han sido quienes se apegan a una técnica en especial y una tematica poco amplia pero que logran desarrollar a tal grado que su obra forma a ser parte de el, pero la cuestion es, ¿como definir un solo camino cuando hay tantas rutas posibles? Y aun peor, el deseo de explorar cada camino no cesa.
Que interesante y útil es lo que dices. A mí me ha pasado, y me he dado cuenta que lo que mejor me salen, son los bodegones y ese tipo de cuadros. Admiro mucho estás pinturas de Cézanne con manzanas y objetos. Gracias 👌👌
Jan Veemer, studied light , spiritual and environmental. He used, apart from his time primary colors. Away from beginning his canvas with Sepia washes first, he used Color manipulation. His canvasses was Oak wood. With numerous Gesso layers finely sanded. Gave a opaige light. His color process was , layers glazes off color. I studied his work with a Ducth Curator at The National Gallery DC. The Lady with The Read Hat had 36 glazes. Incredible , did a copy painting by permission off Smithsonian. He also was one off the first to discover the primitive process off photo thecnology. Which helped , and drove his study of light! And, perspective veriants, revolutionary for his time. As an Artist he preffered to work solitary from the usually Art community!! In order to focus an his theme, color, light to dark via perspective. One, aside Rembrandt , the finest of his time. Enjoy.🇩🇰🇺🇸🗽👀🤗🙏And , you're so correct, it's good to focus on something in your Art life that matters, then go for it. Small canvas , can in it own realm, produce big results. However, some people who have their own style, their names are easy to learn and if you see a thousand of artworks, you might easily find their ones. Even though Its hard to improve in your own style, you always search and get inspired by other people's art and might use their techniques. But If you use many other techniques in one your drawing, isnt it your own style? This question made me think so much now:D I wanna make a video about that as well p.s. sorry for my english, i am still learning it:D
