    100% agree. Best bmw touring made. Handles great. Quick enough. Cheap to run. Look great. Better looking than the newer ones in my opinion. A future classic without the reliability issues. In the next 10 years these will be a proper head turner i think. Great video mate.

    Ive got the E91 320D M Sport with the M47 engine, absolutely love it, got it at a great price and have spent more doing up and it was well worth it.

    Totally agree about the auto things, I love driving a manual but in stop and go traffic it’s a pain and not something I necessarily want to deal with in the mornings when I’m dragging myself to work.

    E91 are goated. I have a rare one, 325D LCI with the M57. Facelift car but with the pre facelift engine. Stage 1 240bhp goes well and it’s immaculate Le Mans blue with 763M wheels you’ll probably see it on the Facebook pages lol

    couldn’t agree more. I own one and live in the states (California) and it’s the best daily there could be - gets a lot of thumbs up too. Mine is like yours, LCI, no idrive, sports package and have put 17k miles on it in 6 1/2 months! love every bit of it.

      The EU engine options are insanely good, all 3 Liter Diesels are mad good

    I have a very early e91 330d MSport (late 2005), it still drives beautifully and has been pretty relaible. I will only sell it when it becomes expensive to keep on the road.

    Nice video, thx! I have a E91 LCI 318d (N47) touring with 458000 km and still drives super, came a few weeks ago from Verona, performed so well on the autobahn with hours over 170-190kmh
    I bought it with 147000 km, besides the normal maintenance things, like brake pads etc. I had to change the clutch, 2 suspensions (rear) and the EGR valve, totally €2000 in 8 years, for the major things, I think it's not bad at all. Best car I ever had in 23 years!

    I only have one question.
    If you gotta choose between the f31 and the e91 as daily which one do you prefer and why?
    Personally i think im gonna go with the e91 because i love the exterior looks, and i have always loved the E-series. (I also think i prefer the e91 because its a bit older and i have always loved older cars)
    But what do you think?

    Great video. I’ve had my pre facelift auto 325i touring black on black. And yes it’s stunning and looks great it’s practical with family and imo much nicer than the successor although I do quite like the latest model from the back. Absolutely brilliant car for the money. Had some issues with injectors (injector cleaner every 500 miles and running premium unleaded every time is essential), emissions and EML ongoing but getting through MOT okay. and that boot glass latch coming open! Have you got a link to the part?

    Interesting and informative video. I have owned for the last 10 and a half years, a 2011 E91 tourer 335d M sport in black with pana roof, and high spec, which has only just done 60,000 miles from new. In all this time I have never seen another one on the road and I have looked. Do you know how many there are out there?

    I wouldn't go as far as to say these are 'the best' affordable daily. I own an LCI Msport e61 530d (M57 engine) as a daily beater and they are far superior than e91's. I paid 3.8k and it's spec'd to the max. Faster, bigger and cheaper.

    • @SOCIALLYDRIVEN
      @SOCIALLYDRIVEN  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A 5 series is nice but they are no where near as popular as the E91’s! They are heavier, a bit more clunky and less desirable to look at. Non the less great daily’s also 100% but the E91’s in my opinion top them 🔥

    • @TheEXZL
      @TheEXZL ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SOCIALLYDRIVEN Yeah that's fair enough, my point is that they're slightly cheaper and you get a lot more for your money! And when modified nicely they look the dog bollocks. But your point is valid and they're both awesome cars 👍

    what is the general consensus on the 318i petrol, ive been looking into them recently as a daily cant seem to find to much posted on them on youtube. (also those black rims on black body look insane!)

    • @dannyboywhaa3146
      @dannyboywhaa3146 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve got one - I had to get used to the noise of rear wheel drive at first - when I first got it I thought their was a handbrake shoe issue or possibly a problem with the slip differential - but it’s just the noise they make and now I’m so used to it I don’t hear it anymore! My suspension shockers are staring to corrode (advisory on last MOT) and my timing chain will want replacing soon but otherwise I haven’t had any issues at all - really cheap insurance and not bad road tax. I’ve got 2011 318i m sport business edition - had her about three years now! Flown through every MOT thus far! Slight corrosion on boot sill as I think there’s a bit of a design flaw (water trap) a lot seem to go there, co check that! Otherwise body and engine bay are really clean... I love it and now I have rear wheel drive I’m never going back, it’s so much better! 👍
