My Shelties(Mika) is almost a year now, I have been working on her since the day we got her (at 9 weeks old) she’s really smart but I’m either out of ideas or I just don’t know how to begin teaching her something... (plus I don’t have the time sometimes hehe guilty! 😅) so please if you can help me with that, i would appreciate it a lot!
I am female, and my dog is sometimes afraid of other adult females. One the street, she is much more likely to respond to males and let them pet her. However, she is never afraid of me and shows me her best and worst sides. So, like Pur Sang said, it is really that you take the time to understand them and work with their personalities.

Kissi Ix nene není,sheltie jsou asi nejcitlivějšì plemeno co znám,na ně se musí jemně a hooodně chválit často si měně věří a to chválení jim posiluje sebedůvěru :) a odpověď na otázku:dá de lehce vycvičit?Noo..záleží kolik máš zkušeností se psy,také na sheltii jako jedinci nejsou stejné :) a vycvičit znamená aby uměla základnì poslušnost?sedni lehni apod?nebo třeba závodění na vysoké urovni?nevím co si pod tim mám představit,ale nenì to tvrdohlavé plemeno,pokud má motivaci tak splní snad všechno co si páníček zamane :)

Shelties seem to respond so well to training by females.
They respond well to training by anyone who respects their sensitive nature and uses only positive reinforcement.
