The world's most EXTREME KITEBOARDING event 🤯 - History of Red Bull Megaloop

Red Bull Megaloop is the world's most extreme kiteboarding event. When the perfect conditions hit the Netherlands (with winds over 35 knots) 16 of the world’s best kiteboarders will be challenged to show their biggest megaloops. From April 1 to November 1 we’re all on standby to wait for Mother Nature to give us the perfect conditions.
Update: the wind window is open again
We now have the green light from the local authorities to host Red Bull Megaloop again as soon as the right storm hits Zandvoort. The wind window has been opened as of July 1 and will run until November 1, 2021.
If Mother Nature gives us the perfect weather, we'll announce the event with 48 hours' notice.
Spectators
As we don’t know what the situation looks like at that moment, we can't confirm how many spectators, if any, we can host. When the event is scheduled to take place, we'll provide more detail about tickets (always free of charge), registration and entry requirements on the tickets tab.
The 16 riders from last year will get another chance to compete in the event and are automatically qualified for Red Bull Megaloop 2021.
