Saw Hank III open for Reverend Horton Heat about six years ago in Atlanta. Before then I had dismissed him out of hand because I assumed he was riding on the name. I was way wrong. Hank III is doing his granddaddy, daddy, and all us real country fans proud. Between him, Wayne Hancock, Dale Watson and several others, we can have hope that REAL country--not that pop-country bullshit in the radio--will live on.
