He does use a slightly grungish voice in this song. Many Corey can do anything. He can scream at a high pitch, give a deep guttural growl and sing in melody. That takes talent.

This is the best I've ever heard someone cover an Alice N Chains song. Corey is perfect for it. But I still must say Layne has the edge over Corey in most cases. No one can pull off that lingering whine in Layne's voice the way Layne of course did.
