"The only thing you've been wrong about in a racecar is when you let off" is almost the best compliment AND worst insult you can throw at a driver put into just a single sentence... and I can't stop laughing 🤣🤣🤣

I completely agree with your assessment. But, we are all glad they got it repaired quickly and back in your hands. As a former electrician and mechanic, I would be embarrassed 😳 with all that sloppy work. Can't even complete the job THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH. Wow, I can't believe what flies for quality these days? Sloppy work is the norm nowadays, I guess? Perfection and cleanliness in your work is paramount. Half-a$$ job done wrong? Defective parts being sold as new and good, is also the same quality standards in the craft trades. Just my observation though. CHIEF, I agree with your disappointment 😞 one hundred percent. It's frustrating when you expect perfection. Great video Chief & Jackie! Thanks.
Only because Chief knows what he is doing, and took the Battery off of it, Can't count the times I have seen people welding on there vehicles and the battery still hooked up,Blows my mind!!!

Glad to see the Caddy back in it's stable chomping at the bit to be let loose. I can't wait to see you both racing again. Mid West for Eva, burn rubber and smash seconds. Big love to all street racers.
Hi Justin, It great your going to listen to Jackie now. She knows her stuff and I bet Jackie does a better job @home too! Good job with the video Jackie!
I would just check everything over. Make sure everything is tight is where it’s supposed to be I wouldn’t adjust anything at all. Take it out for a test hit you just never know the chassis shop might actually know what they’re talking about. It does happen and sometimes we learn new tricks at the same time. i’m very old school in my way of doing things also but sometimes you learn something new that doesn’t make any sense whatsoever, but it works fantastically
Nice video. It’s never going to happen that someone does things exactly the way you do them especially when you’re very precise and set on how you want everything. It looks like it’s way better than what you had going on and now you can move forward. Good luck.
I’m so glad y’all are still putting videos out.But we need more racing content from Midwest Streetcars ..We are so ready for both of y’all get back to put some rubber down on the Streets or Track.
Thanks for sharing. I like your attention to detail. No reason have brake lines flopping around. Btw I get compliments on the Judge shirt every time I wear it 👍
While i dont know a lot about race car chassis, the fact this bolts in and out blows my mind in the coolest of ways, i understand a cars normal subframe does the same but this was something new to me
I wouldn't take my hotrod there ever! Don't know who did it but i always look over my stuff myself before i run and absolutely before i let anyone in the car and i damn sure wouldn't have ran it down the track like that.!! Good job for looking over the car and making sure and making adjustments.!!!! Honestly you and Jackie know what the real deal is and congratulations safety is always first at that MPH!!!
I hear you Chief about the little things other shops do that aren’t quite right. I had a shop make a gas tank and the flanges for the pump sender and fill he tapped with metric threads, because that’s all he had! It’s the little things that make a difference.
Hey guys , Thanks for the vid. I agree 💯 , i would have been scrachen my head alittle too. I wouldnt have run it. I dont care who built it. I've gotta check it out before it hits the track or streets. We all do things a little differant. Work is ok ,but needs to be cleaned up alittle. Dont like things just hanging around . Good luck guys. And by the way. I always listen to what mama says. Much love and respect. Stay safe. Jersey.
Was better than I thought it would be considering it seemed like a short amount of time they had it . I’m surprised they didn’t communicate with you about what they were doing so that you could have an input.
Glad to see you working on caddy. I swang by your shop today around 1:30pm to see if you all were there. I was in town and just wanted to check out your place.
Thanks for entertainment. That's not quite the cleanest setup I was expecting, knowing it was for you two I would have gone out of my way on it but it looks better than what was in it. At least you admit that you need to try harder at listening to Jackie. God bless and as always be safe.
Hey chief and Jackie it's always a great day when you have to pu caddie jack. But yeah chief I'm with you having a little more adjustment on the 4 link and cmon man they couldn't tie that cable up other then that it looks great that badboy should rip now can't wait to see the first licks. As always keep up the awesome work guys let's go 💪 💯
You might want to tidy up the plumbing and wiring & get the changes made, but also put it back to his exact settings and attempt a pass or 2 and see if his settings do work better since he took the time to set it up. You could possibly impress them, respect the nice fast hard work and also possibly learn something new too. Not a criticism Justin, I am just wondering if there is something to thier way of doing it, and since they did deliver a drive it into the trailer car quickly that just needs a few touch ups and inspections it would be certainly worth the attempt. Sometimes chassis guys do know what they are doing...you took it there so you both trust them and the improves were needed. I fully agree the crank nose to rear wheel inspections and diagnosis and look sees, are fully needed (before live track test days, after that very near and not quite fatal wreck she got away with & not fully wadding up the whole car...and that beyond engine tuning data, that is pretty much rear chassis wise a new car setup ( go clear slate as it looks a lot stronger and safer under CJ's arse end). Those bars will now take Jackie's Funny Car style burnouts after beefing up the rear hook & steer gear. Listen to your driver Tuner, if their butt says something is wrong screw the data...there is something wrong. Look at it mechanically before believing the newfound data. Cracked and bent steel sensors are not installed on those cars yet. So, the data wasn't lying, it wasn't setup to tell the story and whisper into the tuners ear or eyes. And it could have cost a lot more to find out. Safest wreck I have seen so far. Not the least expensive, but could have been miles and millions worse a result.
