To the people who are criticizing here that we haven't represented certain parts of India need to know before passing judgment. 1) We get very limited funding and out of those funding we have to pay for the rent (if applicable), permits, fireworks, food (yes we cooked for around 200 people and approx 15-20 different items), paying any other artist which we hire additionally to perform/entertain people. 2) As we have limited funding we can't afford to spend money on attire. So we have to work from what we have got and as being student we can't afford to spend money to buy attire from every part of India. 3) We don't get paid for this, we have to invest our own time and that's the reason people don't participate, they don't come forward to help us out. 4) So students will represent their own state(normally) as we have brought 1 traditional attire with us while coming from India. If we have extra then we share it. So instead of directly starting to criticize others or judging or labeling others with different things you need to know the reason behind it. Peace
May be north east students were not there I think. But I am from Gujarat. I have visited Aizawal, Sikkim, shilong . And people from north India are one of the most hard working , large hearted and brave people. Salute to all the people from north east.

when I was watching the video i, was very excited the my state will come {Uttarakhand} , but there is no Himachal, Assam, J&K........ anyways, nothing matters as we all are Indian we love our India very very much jai hind, jai shri ram.

Indians in crowd anyway know these forms of dresses (throughout their schooling they would have seen this during independence day celebrations) and not sure why this was organised in first place as you aren't showcasing things to people who don't know these. If it's independence day celebration, then it's understandable (may be change title if it's that) I have spent years in Germany (masters and job) and I know for sure that none of natives or other EU folks will waste time by even attending these. They would rather grab a beer and grill something. These events are purely done by Indian crowd for their own entertainment (I.e. screaming).
