The Fantastic Panorama and 'DUOMO NUOVO', the Museo dell'Opera and the Cripta del Duomo di Siena

Today, first, we climbed the panoramic observation deck on the façade of the newly built Siena Cathedral, which is in an unfinished state, and watched the symbol of Siena, the Torre Del Mangia. I was able to admire the old buildings at a glance, like a color chip containing all the Sienna colors, which are the colors of the unique buildings that make up Siena.
Then, we looked around the three-floor Siena Museo dell'Opera, where we could see works by Duccio di Buoninsegna(1255-1319).
We admired many original sculptures and icons, including the original stained glass seen at the main altar of Siena Cathedral. And, on the way to the Baptistery of San Giovanni in Siena Cathedral, we visited the Cripta del Duomo di Siena, which was found during the expansion work from Oratory of San Giovannino to the Oratory of San Gennaro in 1999. And we admired several frescoes which were brought back to light for the first time in 800 years.
