The secret to winning with bomb warrior - not playing bomb warrior despite starting with a bomb warrior setup.
I have learned that you just use the power button as a mana filler with the upgrade.
I've learned as much from the new Fire FestEVIL tavern brawl, but even the upgraded hero power which shuffles two bombs dealing 5 damage each (instead of 3) for just one mana (instead of two) is super bad. It's insanely frustrating to spend mana on shuffling 20 bombs into your opponent's deck, only to watch them somehow dodge all of the bombs each time. Just out of interest, I also tried prolonging the game to shuffle even more bombs into the opponent's deck, but they still dodge all the bombs.
Hurricane622 if you can beat a bunch of those bosses with fatigue you can do it with bombs.

I agree with everyone. The carts in act 3 aren't fun, they're just in the way. Every other act has a sort of cost/benefit element to it. Act 3 just destroys value basically. It's frustrating and not fun.
Imagine if the carts had some sort of inner value? Each player gets 2 but they have a effect based on type (Fish Cart adds a random murlock to hand at start duel, the first minion left to a weapon cart get +1/+0 and so on). That would have been interesting.
@@travelkingable This is a much better idea. Even if it's a small effect, or something you can play with/against, it's much more interesting than just being a dead body on the board.
At least let board wipes get rid of them.
If you have a deck that goes tall instead of wide you can benefit from it

The whole time he was picking the first set of abilities, I was screaming 'Wondrous Wisdomball!'
Seeing Trueheart there got me wondering: How does upgrading your starting hero power work with the new ones? Do they have improved versions of each of the 18 new "basic" hero powers? or does she become an overcosted minion that does nothing?
She gives you the upgraded version of a "normal" classes hero power. in the case of warrior it would be +4 armour, which is not bad with stargazing.

My secret: Same Act, Same Starting Deck was Goggles, Lots of Bombs, Double Muscle, Perma-stealth, and then Joybuzz starting with a Turn 1 "Play 1/1 Copies of 4 Random Minions". It's pretty easy to win if Joybuzz can only deal 4 Damage per round.
So I had the problem of not being able to win with this deck, not sure why. I kept picking more bomb cards and just filling their deck with more and more. It was more often than not, they had more bombs than regular cards, I even had a game where the opponent had 15 bombs and 2 regular cards left. but what are his next two draws? not bombs that's for sure. Time and time again they just don't draw the bombs and i wasn't able to survive.
So I changed it up, I got a double health early, so I took that to help me survive. It was alright but then I got ANOTHER double health, so I said whatever and took it. If that wasn't enough I then got a reno jackson card somehow and since I only had 3 duplicates I took it. It was ridiculous this was chapter 5 heroic so the more fights I did the more health I got. the final few I had over 200 health, with a reno jackson if I got low, all I had to do to win was outlast my opponent.
That was my first heroic chapter 5 win, I NEVER got a bomb card pick beyond the original in the deck and the hero power. I just won because I had to much health.

I have to say that preist is dead as heck but My shadow deck does well for me with the new radiance had to move around 6 cards to make it work tho.

Can someone explain the card (I'm not familiar enough with it to remember the name) the summons a 1/1 boom bot for each bomb in your opponents deck?
I played this a few days ago (nothing was on my side of the board when I played him AND I wasn't playing the chapter with the carts) prior to playing him I had played my hero ability (put two 3 dmg bombs in their deck), had played a card who had a battlecry to put a 5 dmg bomb in their deck and I had played the weapon that adds a 5 dmg bomb after attacking and had attacked twice (so all in all there should have been 4 bombs in their deck when I played the card in question, cause one of the 5 dmg had already been drawn) but when I played the card I only got 2 1/1 boom bots (one on each side of the card)...Does it mean it summons a 1/1 boom bot for each TYPE of bomb in opponents deck???
Since it's not designed to be used with the hero power, it probably only counts the 5 damage bombs added by cards in regular hearthstone.

If the opponent has spell damage, do the bombs deal more damage to them? If so bomb warrior might be insane against act 5 mages.

Edit: side note it's pretty cool that there is a video that shows over like 90 interactions that you can find in the heist and it still missed a few like between chu and the painter.

So is it actually just me that thinks Undermine is a solid hero power? With stargazing it's pretty guaranteed to do about 6 damage every 2 presses, which means that you should be able to finish most bosses by turn 9 just by pressing the button. Am I wrong here?
593swheeler the decks get larger as you get farther along so while I do think that it is really strong for the first three it becomes much more likely it just does nothing against the later bosses then it is just a do nothing hero power in a mode were tempo is king

Yeah cause a 50% chance of a hero power affecting the board that you can do twice in a situation where you're facing lethal and need to affect your opponent's board is probably worse than a value hero power with a hand that can't really take advantage of it without dying.

The fact that Spell Damage on your side made your opponent's cards and secrets that damage you get increased damage was a bug that they fixed, what i don't understand is why they don't make it so that the opponents Spell Damage does work when it's your turn

I don't think people dislike the carts because they severely change up the game, or because they are a big restriction. I think people dislike them because they are unfun. Not being able to play your cards is not fun. You can have a big reatriction which drastically changes the game without having the restriction force you to pass your turn because you cannot play your cards. It's annoying and dumb design.
@Erick-Emil Szelitzky No, it does not. A good restriction encourages you to play in a different way than normal but doesn't outright force it. For example the anomaly which doubles every spell encourages you to play a spell heavy deck but it does not force it. Not being able to play your cards is not fun. The core idea behind it is a good one but the implementation is very bad.
