    A green Green room!
Question. Can somebody tell us if there has been a change in the definition of swag over the years? Originally it was (free) stuff we all get if attending the event or having paid to go to that event. We are offered use of a merch table (though we are, of course, merchless. Back when we were much younger and even more naive we did put out ID swag of no commercial value which, of course, only one person took).😁😁

A little over equipped for that size of venue. The big guys have a lot of trouble down sizing.
My band "TheBearcats" where opening for 54/40 at an outdoor venue. I was not needed as they had a much bigger PA than I.. but I went along for the ride.
It ended up down pouring in buckets. They cancelled the show and we moved into the bar. We now had a bar with over 300 people in it and no band. I asked the 54/40 techs if they could bring in part of the PA. They said no, it is all integrated.
I knew we had our own mics, and our Keyboardist had an old tube 4 channel Yamaha mixer he used to mix his keys. The property owner sourced some bose901's and I set up a stage that worked like the 60's.. sound off stage and rigged the mics using the old Mixer and Bose.
The sound was some what questionable...lol however the "TheBearcats" where the stars of the show and 54/40 was our audience...lol

The City Winery has a very loud atmosphere but hopefully that will dissipate as people fill the room. Where’s Brad, I hope he hasn’t taken previous comments the wrong way because we love listening to him practicing!

Last time Lyle was here in VT Shelburne Museum, he bought a Harley and pulled out cash from his pocket! Do you do sound checks? And how many bass guitars do you take on tours?

We do sound checks every day and I have two basses. One for the show and one as a back up just in case something happens to the other.

I almost couldn’t tell if that was Robert Plant or Le clean shaven in his younger days.

    1. 1 2. 1. 1. Hey hey. 1. 1 2. 1. 1. How does that guy decide whether to go with just a 1 or a 1 2 or a hey hey and what exactly is he listening for?

You need to pull a prank on Lyle and record it.
