    It's great to see you guys pan out some material. Great results from only 1.2 kilos of material. I'd really like to see you guys go through enough material to show us a big clean up with an ounce or two in the pan. I want my mind to be blown! 🤯🤯🤯

      @@911mining Thanks for the response, it was a pretty spectacular sample; plus or minus a few pennyweights should be well within the margin for error for the technique demonstrated and the results. I was wondering what you did with the rocks and stones you removed while panning. Do you crush them up later and re-pan them?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They would contain a little gold but the most was where the breciatted argalites contacts the quartz vein. which we crushed down to 1/4" we would definitely find more gold if it was crushed to a finer mesh (We just didn't have the tools when making this to crush it very fine). If we where actually trying to capture all gold it would be crushed to at least 200mesh minimum. Especially with the presence of sulfides some gold particles will be down to micron level so even finer.

  • @DeliciousDeBlair
    @DeliciousDeBlair 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Question... ~( 'w')/
    If I have some stone which is jam packed full of vugs, does that mean that space was once full of sulfides?
    I ask because I got some hellafied hollow spongy looking quartzite stuff that looks just totally like blown foam it is so full of hollow spaces, but all that are in them now is red clay...
    This goes inland into the hillside somewhat, and might possibly lead to something more valuable, but I do not want to just go mad demolishing the place if its worthless.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      A lot of times but it's not always sulfides could be other minerals. Try soil sampling or sampling float materials down from the outcrop.

    • @DeliciousDeBlair
      @DeliciousDeBlair 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@911mining Its literally the edge of a cliff, overlaying some chert [or dolomite] underlaid with shale/limestone, so in reality, there is nothing downhill but black soil and other than one really large chunk of the stuff, just fractured shale/limestone.
      I dug up a sample from uphill of it and have some in sulfuric acid and some in just plain water [the sulfuric acid got hot but that might have just been soil moisture] and the acid turned the deep reddish brown material all bluish-gray except for a hint of something amber floating in solution.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Argillite is a sedimentary rock which eventually grades into shale and schist through metamorphism. This is more like an argillite schist mix. The schists have "developed" where they contact other rock types.

    I don't have any experience mining gold but it seems to me that shouldn't you crush the rocks up some to dislodge any gold that is sticking to the other minerals ? Then check it .
    Also saw lots of material sloshing out of the mini pan into the larger pan , bet there is some gold in that larger pan . Anyway you slice it that's a dream pan .

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably this was just meant to show there's gold, wouldn't read to far into panning with an 8" pan. We actually kept all the material from this for an assay everything was re-mixed and sent in for analysis.

I will take gold or silver over the fiat currency they print . But sadly most have no idea just how much we are lied to . There's a reason why China Russia and other countries are hoarding it . They know the bubble will burst and this next time will be the deliberately planned cause for WW3 or something like it . Let's pray it doesn't come to that .

      Yeah, I came up with 56 gm's per tonne also. I don't understand why the region is so poorly investigated/prospected.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's not necessarily poorly explored, there has been claims over a ton of areas where we are in fact you look at Mineral titles online and previous tenures and theres been more staked than not but a lot are by lone prospectors who have no funds to do much of anything but general prospecting.
      With logging going like crazy everything around here is getting restaked. Because massive showings are being discovered. For instance we just staked a property today. The entire area of 15km square had been staked and held by a huge company who's revenue is around 75-100 million annually this was staked in 2009 they found little outcrop exposed it's all 3rd growth forest so without spending huge dollars for a chance there's something subsurface they keep what they can find and let other areas lapse and explore target areas, now logged in the last month, logging road building exposed 11 new exposures for us. Now we staked it and have potential to sell it back to them. In the end we both win because the renewal fees to keep such huge properties active each year or the amount of work needed to keep it active is more than they would have to pay us for an option or sale back to them.
      We have huge amounts of showings and past producing mines discovered where we are but every time an areas logged you find more and more. However some areas were just impossible to get to without logging building roads and where just never explored by old timers.

    • @stevetreloar6602
      @stevetreloar6602 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@911mining Thanks for that detail; when you put it like that it makes perfect sense. I'd just always assumed that the USA and Canada would have thrashed the area when it was first discovered. My home state of Victoria has virtually no unsearched ground and the old timers were not averse to setting wildfires to clear up undergrowth to make it easier, Western Australia probably has almost no area that hasn't had a metal detector over it in the last 30 years and South Australia, where I live now is not minor exploration friendly, even remotely, (uncooperative geology combined with property law) and State law keeps it that way unless you discover Roxby Downs, Prominent Hill or the like. In situ acid leaching for Uranium in palaeo channels turned out to be an environmental disaster. By law I can prospect waterways and 3 metres to each side, farmers aggressively don't like respecting that law.
      EDIT: I'm a little embarrassed when you give me such comprehensive answers, I don't want to waste your time as much as I appreciate it.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not a problem I haven't done to much awnsering to comments as I have been out in the field for 15 hour days the last 4 days so its wind down time and I like responding so not a problem.
      We have so many areas that used to be hard to get to but now with logging we have access to. I'm not sure how the terrain is over there but we have mountains everywhere and a lot of rugged terrain so honestly without our loggers as we would have way less discoveries here. The biggest bummer here is placer mining rules I can do just as much staking a mineral claim over a placer deposit as staking it as a placer claim. The placer mining is honestly almost limited to panning here because of watercourse "contamination" 🙄

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most ores with sulfides arnt detectable with a detector as there not a solid element. For instance a hunk of native copper would go off like crazy but chalcopyrite copper - iron - sulfur because it's not pure metal won't. Picture taking all those elements and throwing them in a blender when your done it will be evenly mixed so there's not bug hunks of metal. This is why when you refine sulfides it needs to be crushed so fine to break each element apart so they can be separated. Sometimes you will have free elements with sulfides which would be picked up by the detector if big enough.
